Food is pretty good.. I ate lunch there recently, and the Philly steak sandwich is pretty go. The price is okay too.

great atmosphere. good food, good drinks. Interesting people. I'll be back to watch the people go by and have a brew. Not pretentious at all.

like hanging on the deck with friends. great after work place to relax. Nice place to sit outside and relax while enjoying a sandwich and a pbr. Alot of friendly diverse people to talk to.

Tasty subs and AMAZING HOME-MADE POTATO CHIPS. Dude, this place is yummy. Great sandwiches and the best potato chips I've ever eaten. Decent beer and vegetarian selection but a little smoky inside. Two pieces of advice: one, bring cash for tip if you're using a card because they don't print a ticket with a tip line; two, order the "shut up and eat it"--it's a yummy surprise, and you're not disqualified if you're a little picky up front (I requested no mayo).

Sandwich shop by day, live music venue by night and always an NC State favorite.. In Short
Known more for its live music and beer specials than its sandwich menu, this Hillsborough Street hotspot is a longtime favorite of NC State students and local music fans. By day, lunchtime crowds in search of Italian subs swing by to eat and socialize on the patio, but by night, the live concerts transform the space into a loud, lively hangout. Sadlack's shows are typically free and open to all ages, securing its reputation for being undergrad-friendly.
