B.S. reviews. Most of theses reviews were written by the same person. If you look, there are legitimate reviews in 2002, the next one is in 2005, then a couple in 2006 then one in 2008. Then there are 10 reviews in a row giving it 5 stars that were written in a 2 week period between September 6th and 21st 2009. What a load of horse cronkie. Try to be less obvious next time

It Takes a Village. East Village just might be the breeding ground for the next surge of patriotic pride. One visit here and you’ll completely forget how upset you were over the sale of Budweiser to that Belgian company.

Unnatural Disaster. The men's bathroom is disgusting. It smells like vomit and pee. It was painted with white primer too. What a low rent place!

East to Wes. I went in there with some of my girlfriends the other night and we sat at the corner table. I was astonished by the arrogance of the bartender, Wes. He acted like he was God's gift to women or something. He must have been having a bad night because he barely said two words to us as he slung our drinks at us. We weren't expecting him to flirt with us but we didn't expect him to be downright rude. We asked for our bill and left. We headed to another bar where we were treated with a little more respect. We wound up spending over $200 that night (and we tipped accordingly). I am telling everyone I know what a lame place East Village is.

Don't beileve the BS. Obviously the owners or managers at EV have stacked some positive reviews to counteract the negative reviews on this site. This place is hardly worth 5 stars. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Today I went in and ordered the maple wings. What I got was the Buffalo wings. I thought, ok, I'll deal with it. The wings tasted terrible. The sauce wasn't hot nor did it evenly coat the wings. Then, about the 5th wing, I found a long blonde hair. I am shaved bald and brown-haired so it obviously wasn't mine. Then on the bottom of the basket underneath the wings I found pieces of food not belonging to my order that were undeterminable origin. I am abslutely disgusted with this place. I am sickened just thinking about my experience here today - so bad, that I am reporting them to the health department. I wouldn't give them one star but I had to so I could publish this review.
