In Short – Brightly painted and quirky, Hillsborough Street's dairy destination offers homemade ice cream and sorbet in giant waffle cones or topped with gooey hot fudge. Flavors change often (though the popular Cookie-O is a mainstay). Try one of the ice cream pies for a special occasion or a hand made mix-in. They have coffee, too. – –
Ice Cream Pie Unimpressive
by 123EM
The made-to-order Mississippi Mud Pie was very disappointing. The cookie crust was ordinary store-bought, the layer of hot fudge was very thin, and the coffee ice cream was nothing special. At $11, it was over-priced. This dessert could be easily assembled at home for much less with better ingredients and better results. In addition I was told they needed 4 hours to assemble it. When I arrived to pick it up, it was not ready. I waited as it was assembled and then was handed the uncovered pie plate full of soft ice cream in a cardboard cake which made transport difficult. Overall a very unimpressive experience.
- Pros: cute decor, convenient location, small parking lot
- Cons: unhelpful staff, lackluster product
Love the Cream

This has been my favorite place for years...nice servers and a quiet dining area for catching up with friends or playing a little piano...
- Pros: wonderful ice cream
- Cons: bad parking, limited flavors
Heavenly High Butterfat Paradise

Delicious, delicious homemade and yummy. Wish they'd come up with funky concoctions like B&Js sometimes, though... VERY RICH TASTING, so if you've only got a little room in the tummy after dinner, this may make you woozy. Excellent flavor, smooth texture. Yum.
- Pros: WHOA good ice cream
- Cons: small place, parking limited
