Pretty much just like any other Applebee's. Applebee's needs to divide their smoking and non-smoking section--this is true for all Applebee's, but because it's located near NCSU there seem to be more smokers in this one. Overall, it's what you expect from an Applebee's. Pretty decent American food for the money. Gets pretty crowded sometimes.

gross. This place is a dump. Everything about it screams "dirty," especially the servers, who like they just got out of rehab. I've been to other Applebee's restaurants that were fine. This one is not.

A low-key, friendly environment attracts plenty of families to this reliable chain. Kids in the big booths--often clutching free balloons and crayons--usually outnumber adults sitting at the bar. The menu offers filling American fare with no surprises, from mozzarella sticks and nachos to rollups and burgers. Entrees include steaks, fajitas and main dish salads. The calorie-conscious can select from a list of Weight Watchers-inspired dishes like mesquite chicken salad and grilled tilapia with mango salsa.
