Delicious Yankee-style dogs and burgers in the heart of the South.. In Short
This tiny eatery in Mission Valley could easily get overlooked, yet it always seems to be packed. Cloo's lures them in with tasty dogs, sinful chili cheese fries and possibly the only sliders (think White Castle) in the Triangle. Other popular items are the Philly cheesesteak and the gyros. Detroit and local sport paraphernalia line the walls of this bustling NC State hangout.

Best bargain in town. Cloo's is the best value in town. Period.

But even at twice the price, it would be a bargain. The food is great. The Sliders are our favorites, but they have great hot dogs and terrific fries.

What a simple place. Hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and fountain drinks. But they are all great.

Simply delicious!. If you're there during the lunch crowd, expect a longer wait. But man oh man, it is sooooo worth it! The coney dogs with slaw are out of this freakin' world! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY! And the chili cheese fries are SINFUL. I had to go to confession afterwards, and I ain't even Catholic.

The gyro (pronounced YEE-ROH) is also highly recommended. They got this tasty cucumber dressing. SO MUCH YUM YUM FOOD, SO LITTLE TIME!

could be better.... food is good for the money but i have been in there countless times and i am never impressed w/ the service. food takes way to long to prepare which is why i never go when in a hurry. still the best hot dogs in town though.

BEST PHILLY CHEESE STEAK. You think hotdogs & hamb. are great, try a Philly Cheese Steak - BEST IN TOWN. Fries are great, tea is great, service is great, staff is "excellent" & my favorite place to eat! I pick up the phone to call in my order & the minute they hear my voice they know who it is, what I want & simply tell me I can pick it up in 15 mins. WOW what great service. The staff puts a smile on my face the minute I walk in the door. Keep up the good work & great food everyone! See you Friday!

Sliders!. Great dogs, the BEST fries in town, and they have sliders! Thin hamburgers grilled with onions. Yum!

Good Find!. Cloos' is the perfect place to go for a quick, cheap, delicious meal--especially when you have a craving for fries. They are thin and salty and come in a heaping helping and wrapped in tin foil. Everything is prepared on the grill right there. I also recommend the grilled cheese -- it's the best around.

Good, Cheap, Comfort food. On those really bad days I know I can go to Cloo's and have something to eat that makes me forget I'm a grown up. Service may not be the fastest but the staff gets to know you and will set you up with 'the usual'. Besides - if you're in a hurry = call ahead.
