Beware of Innova Sports Tours - Bristol Sharpie 500 2008 THEY HAVE A NEW NAME INNOVA PLATINUM!!!!

My daughter, a friend and I took the Innova Bristol Sharpie 500 Tour, just this last weekend August 23, 2008. We where not notified that our Hotel had changed, found out after driving 10 hrs and over 500 miles. Went to the hotel stated on our package material and was told of the change by the original hotel staff not Innova. Finally after finding the correct hotel we check in only to find a LETTER, not a person waiting for us that stated we would not get the Hospitality & Pit Tour portion of our package and we would get a refund. There was also our Fri. nite tickets, and a note telling us we would get our Sat. tickets the next day. The next day while loading the buses I had to guess who the Innova Contact was as he has no identification ,Name Tag, Innova Shirt, Nothing. Chad said we would get our tickets after the Fri. nite race so I had to track him down again after the Fri. night race. We did get tickets just not in the section stated in our package materials. We where also suppose to get an Official Program for Sat. had to purchase our own program as Chad was not there on Sat. at all. I just believe that this could have been handled more professionally. We where suppose to have Welcome desk at check in, Not there. Staff on the buses to and from track, 1 bus had Chad on it Friday but no one on the buses Sat. We where suppose to get a Hospitatlity Tent and Pit tour, Did not happen. I received no emails at all until we returned from the weekend, then I am told that everyone was understanding about all the mess ups. I heard everyone on the buses Friday and Sat. and no one understood as we where not told anything other than a few lines in a letter left at the desk of Hotel. Unprofessional. Emailed Innova after I returned and told them I thought it was an Unprofessional tour and I would go to the newspapers if I did not get my compensation and they said I had no Compassion. The attendees where never addressed by an Innova Staff at all, but I have no compassion. BEWARE!
- Pros: Travel packages are a great way to go to a race.
- Cons: Make sure you research the company you use as looks can be deceiving.

Avoid this company like the plague

Steer clear of this company...The "positive" reviews had to be written by Innova staffers. Chad promises you he's on top of things, but you never hear back from him. There were too many screw-ups to mention...

Best Daytona 500

We used INNOVA for the 2008 Daytona 500 for our corporation and had a wonderful time. Every detail has taken care of and the staff could have not have been nicer.
