She not only knows how to create a beautiful cut, color combo..she loves her job and it shows! I left the salon feeling beautiful and so happy with my hair. Erin will not let you leave her chair unless you are smiling from ear to ear! I've found MY salon in Raleigh. I'd driven by Sam & Bill's nearly every day for the first 9 months I lived in Raleigh, thinking it was just a barber shop. When I realized I couldn't drive 1.5 hours to get my hair done by my former "girl," I saw Sam & Bill's getting great reviews, and gave them a shot.

Amy is exactly what I wanted in a stylist. She took my vague descriptions of what I wanted ("I want it like this, only shorter and blunter") and gave it to me! She took her time looking at my hair, asking what I do to it, what products I use, how long I want to spend on it, etc, and when she finished I actually loved how I looked (none of that, "It'll look better once I wash and style it myself," you know?).

The salon itself is very cute and warm, and parking across the street is sufficient. Even with all the ridiculous construction on Hillsborough/Oberlin, it was easy to get to.

I can't wait to go back!…
