Rigged. Obviously the people writing these reviews are friends of the owner. When I went in there - just a mere unknown CUSTOMER- I was treated so rudely I couldn't believe I was in a retail store who supposedly wanted me to buy something from them. When I asked who the rude lady was I was told she was the OWNER of the store!!! It's a week later and I'm still in dismay over the experience. There are much better shops in Raleigh - in Cameron Village itself - where you can buy great gifts and be treated nicely at the same time (not to mention at MUCH better prices!)!!! I will never go to this store again.

Best Gift Store in Raleigh. I have been going to Charlotte's for years. She and her staff know me in both North Hills and Cameron Village and they are always very helpful in my search for the perfect item. I never have to ask for help......someone is always available to assist me. They are friendly and Charlotte never fails to ask me about my family. I hightly recommend shopping at Charlottes. They are on top of the "latest" trend and want you to be happy with any purchase you make.

What a delightful store. I visited Charlotte's for the first time this week and had the most enjoyable time shopping! The jewelry in this store is absolutely beautiful and they have incredible prices!!! I cannot wait to go back not only to shop but to visit the kind, very helpful girls that work there!!!

Horrible Experience. I moved here from NYC three years ago and this is the first bad experience i've had in the triangle. Someone told me to go to Charlotte's for gifts. As i looked around the cameron village store a woman basically stalked me. Every time i picked something up she would look at me and when i asked to see something in a cabinet she acted extremely annoyed. To make matters worse I found out later that this woman was the owner!!! I was shocked. I have never seen such bad customer service in my life. I can't even remember what the store had to offer because i was so caught off guard by this woman's behavior. As i look at these other reviews my friends and i have to laugh. Obviously the owner has a lot of family members that have been asked to write good reviews. There is NO WAY the people writing these reviews were in the same store as me!!!

Best Shop in Raleigh and Wilmington. Charlotte's has the cutest gifts, handbags, shoes and most gorgeous jewelry in Raleigh and Wilmington. All of the girls that work there are so sweet and always go out of their way to help every customer that comes through the door. It is truly the best shop around!

Best Jewelry, Handbags and Gifts!!. I think that Charlotte's has the best jewelry and handbags in North Carolina. No other city(they have raleigh and wilmington locations) in the state has a store where you can find wedding gifts, jack rogers, fine jewelry, fashion jewelry and great handbags. I think that all the girls that work there are super cute and super nice. They have always been so helpful in many different ways. They always have the best ideas for gifts. I have shopped at Charlotte's for 8 years and I will continue shopping there for as long as the store is around. I don't get why people are being so negative about Charlotte's? It is truely the only tasteful gift store in Raleigh and Wilmington... No others compare... not Swoozies, not Cat Banjo, not Handpicked.... just think about that.

Do not shop here. This store is rediculous. I will never go in there again. The owner is incredibly rude. The items are way overpriced. I saw a pair of earrings for 90.00 then went across the street to Cat Banjo and saw the exact same earrings for 25.00. I believe the owner has let her small amount of success go to her head!!

Avoid at all costs. sure, charlottes inc has great stuff, BUT their products are and can be found in every other boutique in raleigh. i tell you this because shopping at charlottes for the sole purpose of merchandise is no excuse for their lack of customer service. i have been in several times to the cameron village location and have yet to be greeted by an employee - one time two turned to watch me walk in and then completely went back to what they were doing. i find myself avoiding the store and have even warned other people not to buy from them.

their return policy is ridiculous, no returns - only exchanges and even that is within 7 days. earlier in the year, UNFORTUNATELY, i received jack rogers from my grandmother which were purchased at charlottes. i went in to retrieve a smaller size and it was torture. they didn't have my size and told me they couldn't order it because of the fact "they didn't know what was coming in". pardon my french but, BULLSH*T.

the girls who work there - young and old, are snobby and quite bitchy. if i were you, i would spend my money else where. you can find everything at charlottes within a 5 mile range anywhere else and probably for cheaper. MURVAL BAGS FOR $50.......... really? try $25. charlotte- think about the people you hire AND give them an attitude check. you have lost my money forever and thats unfortunate for you because i could buy your whole store...... twice.

i love this store!. charlotte's has the cutest selection! i love both locations - cameron village and north hills. i have found that both stores have great amount of selection to shop from and awesome customer service! i especially love their jewelry, shoes, and gifts!
