Bad Customer Service? No way.. I recently went through the drive-through at this location to deposit my paychecks with my three dogs in the car. When they sent my card and receipt back through the tube, there were three milkbones in it. Someone in there is paying attention. ;)

Worst Customer Service... and they charge me for it???. Banking with BB&T has been one nightmare after another for me... everything from duplicate charges that they refuse to remove to charging me overdraft fees when my bank account has a POSITIVE balance... and after yet another mistake, I check my account balance tonight to see that they are charging $2 per phone call to their customer service department to get THEIR mistakes straightened out. I'm taking my money as far away from BB&T as I can get.

Lisa Burch...BB&t @ Garner Location. I just wanted to personally thank Lisa Burch at the Garner Location; BB&T branch.

After seeing some of the ratings she has received recentely...I was very shocked that anyone could be so mean to her! The experience I received this week from Mrs. Burch exceeded any expectation that I could ask for from a customer service standpoint. She was everything that her business card says on the back...Reliable, Responsive, Empathetic and very COMPETENT IN HER JOB! There were even a couple times when she would call me back with a response before I could even get back to my residence! WOW...now that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you should need anything from a financial banker....please see Mrs. Burch @ the Garner BB&T Branch! My thanks to you Mrs. Burch!

TELEPHONE HARASSMENT FROM BBT. This is a complaint about BB&T customer service. Some weeks ago I received a phone call from them demanding that I identify myself. I did not, and asked what the phone call was about. They said, "a bank matter". I told them I did not want to talk with them, and that I was on the do not call list. Since then I have received 9 more calls which I answered and about the same number on my answering machine. I have asked repeatedly that they stop calling. Last weekend they called 3 times in one night. I have not had an account with BBT in 13 years. Any ideas on how I can get them to leave me alone?

BB&T Branch Manager - Garner Horrible Experience. I also have had a horrible experience with BB&T since I opened up account there 1 month ago. I had a direct deposit for a substainal amount and deposteid an Investment check from Fidelity drawn on Deustche Bank. The investment deposit was made through the ATM on a Thursday a.m. The following Monday a.m. I checked my account on line and discovered there had been a hold placed on that amount and I had paid some bills in the mean time. I called and spoke with Lisa Burch the branch manager of the Garner location who had no common sense what so ever and no customer skills at all!. If the computer didn't tell her exactly what to do she couldn't make a "common sense" decision on her own. I eneded up resolving my issue with a Branch Manager at a RTP location who was very understanding and customjer savy. I am just hoping that my experience with the Garner location isn't a reflection of my future experiences.

BB&T Ripped me off. I opened an account at BB&T a couple of months ago. I had a bank check from Chase for 3000 held for 14 days which is ridiculous. My wife opened a separate account. She recently deposited her payroll check on Friday and had a 3 day hold put on it. She wrote me a check on the money that I deposited on into my BB&T account on Monday. Because of the 3 day hold she went into overdraft which is totally ridiculous, because BB&T had the money from the payroll check.

My wife, unaware of the overdraft used her debit card for incidental purchases, like coffee and hamburgers 6 times for which BB& T charged her $35 per incident for overdraft fees, resulting in over $200 in overdraft fees. Mind you, she had the money, BB&T received the Payroll check on Friday and the only reason she was sent into overdraft was the funds from her payroll check being held.

She had the funds in her account to cover the check. BB&T does not deserve anyone's business. They are in the business of tricking people and ripping them off!!! They need to be investigated by the Federal and State government. There also needs to be a case action law suit brought against them for unfair and fraudulent trade practices. They claim they sent a mailer, they claim they tell people that at the counter, They Did Not do either!!!

I think this is simply a way of making people overdraft and a very bad way to make loyal customers. We asked for part of the charges to be waived and the arrogant bank manager, Beth Angle at the Brier Creek Parkway branch Raleigh NC, would not waive any of the charges. Her bank was empty of customers and I can see why. No One wants to do business with her.

I think BB&T is the worst bank I have ever done business with in all my life of 46 years.

It is not right for BB&T to benefit from money they stole from us.

Impossible service. The service person was not helpful. It took a long time for her to get around to helping customers (there were only two of us). We waited more than 15 minutes for her to assist one of us, I waited over 30 minutes. They did not accet a tax excempt letter to set up an account from the non-profit organization headquarters. The service person was unable to specify the form that would meet their needs. Basically the service person was unresponsive to waiting customers and she did not appear to want our business.
