north raleigh,n'bor bar. Wow, reading the reviews I am shocked. what a great bar me and my friends found a month ago...16 draft beers (some so new) every sport game playing and great people..we have been to this bar Friday's and had a blast with there Karaoke show. Saturdays watching their live bands and Thursday drinking with my co-workers listening to dual piano's ( didn't have to go downtown, rate here in N.Raleigh).....I would have to say check this bar out and judge yourself...Great place and the staff makes you feel welll taken care of...(The bartender was voted 2007 best bartender) The food is very good and they have a 98 Sanitation Score (the very first thing I check out...)

Loosy atmosphere, seedy customers, poor beer selection. This place is a dive. The staff is wonderful, but you will be surrounded by creepy people. Plus, there is no beer on tap, only bottles.

SLOW SERVICE HIGH PRICES. The drinks here cost more than at the Ale House, which is already too much. (17 dollars for a double shot and a beer) This place is small and crowded. There were some crazy people in here last night, including some man who was making innappropriate comments about other guests. The clientel here are a scary bunch. The female bartender was nice enough, but the male was rude to me. If you like hole in the wall bars then go, but this place is a dump and I will never go back.

Great New Hot Spot. Tailgaters----Is a great new hot spot...very clean, Tv's everywhere you look. The bar is fully stocked with what I would think every kind of mixed drink you could think of..We stopped and had a blast listening to the live band and dancing on the new dance floor. I will be back for sure. Great bartender!!!!

New Owner Effective July 1, 2005. Tailgaters changed ownership and management in July 2005. The interior has been repainted and redone, and everyone on the staff is new. (And extremely helpful!) It is very clean, the beer is cold, the food is not very expensive, yet quick and good. The buffalo wings are the best - You can get as many as you want, with all kinds of different sauces. The onion rings run a close second. They have live bands on Wed, Fri, and Sat; Karaoke on Tues; and World Tavern Poker tournaments on Mon and Thurs nights. Heard that they will have the satellite NFL football package and also the college football & basketball packages. Lots of tvs, plenty of room to watch everything that's happening. Give'em a try!

decent. I wouldn't mind going back, but it wasn't one of the best ever. Four dart boards and plenty of pool tables. The service was a bit slow. The menu was standard American. Good selection of beer and alcohol.

great sports setup. great place to catch all the games..10' screen is cool to watch football on. Friday night always has great bands( my fav..Rocco's Collar!). Tues and Sat is a blast with Karaoke.

Where you'r always in the game!. Tailgaters brings together the best of two worlds...the sports bar and the neighborhood bar. Small enough to have everyone know your name, Tailgaters also delivers 13 televisions in two different sizes and one big screen with surround sound. You can see a television from anywhere you sit in this sports bar! If you like pool, try the pool tournament on Thursdays. If you like darts, then stop by on Wednesdays for Dart League. Tailgater's doesn't forget the music either. Stop by on Tuesday or Saturday for karaoke or on Friday for live bands! Tailgaters has it all!
