unbelievable beer selection only real sports bar around. the owner is great loves to joke around with the customers, the bartender is fast and will remember what you drink nearly ever time you come in, food is great and drinks are very competitively priced, and 50% off all drinks is unreal. Great bar!!!

Love this place.... Great menu and food made to perfection. The prices are reasonable, and the neighborhood feel a major plus. This is my first choice for watching all things sports, while enjoying a cold one. I'm thinking the few haters on here had a bone to pick and chose a local business to spew their venom. I'm not hearin' it, and will continue to enjoy the excellent, impossible to find Spiedies & wings extraordinaire!

HOME TOWN BAR. WHERE DO I BEGIN HOW I FEEL ABOUT TAILGATERS.THE BEER IS COLD,THE DRINKS ARE GREAT,THE FOOD IS DELISH AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME.THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY,IF YOUR HAVING A BAD DAY GO SEE KARI AND JEREE,THEY'LL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE.THEY MAKE SURE YOU GOT EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE TAILGATERS A BAD REVIEW.....PLEASE DON'T COME BACK AND RUIN MY GOOD TIME!!!!!

Love this place. I love this bar. It is your friendly neighborhood bar. The bartender will remember you after the 1st time you have been in and the other patrons are friendly. This is the type of place I can go into alone and not worry about every little move I make, people watch out for you in here, especially the bartender. I would say those that have something bad to say are probably the type that complain about everything, or did not like their tab after a whole night of drinking...I say try it for yourself! I always have a good time when I hang out here.

Worst sports bar in Raleigh. This has to be the worst sports bar in the area. I've been to a number of places and had bad service, but the girl Carrie that was waiting on us was the absolute worst I've ever seen. She had a really nasty attitude and was not atttentive to us at all. Our food took forever, and she seemed more interested in the guys at the bar who were old enough to be her grandfather than she was in providing us with some decent food and decent service. I've been to a lot of places in my life, but I don't think that I've ever seen someone so rude and unhappy before. I will never go back to this place, and judging from how many empty tables there were, I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who has made that decision.

Great bar to hang with friends and watch a game. Tailgators is a great bar to go chill by yourself or hang with a group of friends. It is a wonderful combination of your fav. local bar were everyone knows your name and a great place to watch ANY game you want. Drinks are very reasonable and best of all, Every Thursday night is 50% off night. Thats right half off all drinks is a great thing no matter how you look at it. Kari the bartender will take great care off you and her dad is hilarious! Stop by and check it out....Cant think of any other bar in the area hooking you up with great drink specials. Besides all the tv/s, you will find darts and a few pool tables and Karaoke on Friday nights that is sure to make you laugh!

Great Around the Corner Sprots Bar. Love the area for the game. Its a nice place to sit and watch the game without being bothered and the beers priced well and they have tons of selections lots on tap. Karaoke is always fun on tuesday and friday. They also had the pool tounments on wed. I really enjoy the bar. I didnt appreiciate the other on hear just trashing a place just cause you didnt get exactly what you want. I cant go to many places and use american express, I mean really how hard is it to use a different card. And does it really matter where the owner came from or what he retired from. oh and the staff is a lot of fun they actually seem to be having fun being there and if your by yourself they usually make you feel at home. I would recommend this bar to anyone.

Lousy Service, Fooid and Atmosphere. This place must have changed hands. Stopped in about a year ago and the crowd was good and the food okay. When I asked if they took AMEX the owner pointed to the inhouse ATM and told me he couldn't "afford" to accept credit cards. When I suggested that he might want to change his policy because it could discourage customers from coming in, he said he was a retired eye doctor and wasn't worried about losing any business..... He lost mine!

What a dump!. I love how it is so obvious that the owner is the only one who wrote a stunning review for this place. Believe me, this is probably the last whole in the wall you would ever want to grab a beer in Raleigh. The owner walks around this place with a cigar hanging out of his mouth like he's big cheese. Even when he walks back into the kitchen. All the TV's are at least 15 years old and they are clumped together on chairs and tables. It looks worse than my dirty, unorganized garage. The food is terrible and overpriced. We went there to watch football and left after the first half. The place is always empty and for good reason. I normally give places a fair shake but this place is just ridiculous. I'm suprised its still in business. Don't even waste your time. It is a disgrace!!!
