Barbecue and fries. Barbecue sandwich and fries is a winner. Good choice of vegetables and meats on the buffet.

Best BBQ no fuss, no rush..
The best NC BBQ in a long while.
If they keep up the great food and friendly service. They are going to build a solid reputation than cannot be chopped by any BBQ joint.

Hog Heaven. As a lifelong connoisseur of Southern barbecue, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I discovered Don Murray's after moving to Raleigh in 2001. Their chopped pork with its subtle flavor-enhancing sauce is simply the best I've ever tasted. Their hushpuppies are yummy and always crispy fresh. Going to Don Murray's occasionally is one of my favorite treats.

Yuck. Lunch buffet of low-quality heated, canned veggies, and some seriously mediocre chopped port. Go to "Murray's" on Old Poole, instead.
