Fluctuating rates in a commercial area of town.. The Scene
This is a modern, nicely landscaped facility. Its rooms are comfortable, but its amenities are sparse--the outdoor pool is the most notable feature. The location is convenient, off the I-440 Beltline at US 1 North, just minutes from downtown Raleigh. It also offers easy access to numerous colleges. This is a solid bet, on par with many of the area's other similarly priced motels.

The Details
Accommodations range from one to two rooms. They are furnished with data ports and irons. TVs come with HBO, ESPN and more. Copy service is available, and newspapers are offered in the lobby. Complimentary continental breakfast includes pastries, coffee and juice. Parking for tour buses and discounts for groups keep these rooms filled.
