Do NOT Stay At This Hotel. I "won" this hotel on Priceline, for a total of $47 a night ($34 plus fees). It seemed like a good deal until we actually checked in and saw/smelled our room. After arriving on a late flight and driving about 30 minutes, we checked in around 10pm. We looked for our room in the main hotel but couldn't find it. It was in the ANNEX--a horrible 2 story structure on the back of the property. No elevator, broken ice machine, and a nasty smoke smell, despite the fact that our room was "non-smoking." Woke up at 4am to the smell of smoke blowing in. Pitched ceiling with strange beams and and straw-like finish. Missing drawer handles, poor tv reception, mismatched decor (including a horrible old loveseat with yellowed CUPID fabric).

Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Interesting Experience. About a Year and a half ago, on Dec 2007. The Room was nice and clean but when we pulled out the TV, behind, there was a mini pacifier full of vaseline..

It sounds funny but at the same time is not to sanitary and distastefull. The Bathroom was missing lights and you could see all the tubing comming out of the sink and into the ceiling. To me, those were minor details that can and maybe they were corrected. The Lobby and the Breakfast Room were beautifully decorated for Christmass so I congratulate the Hotel Staff. I would recommend the Hotel and I would go back again on my next visit.

Good prices near historical downtown Raleigh.. In Short
This basic, three-story, 139-room facility offers ample parking near business parks, theaters, shopping and sports venues. There is also plenty of space for berthing RVs, which makes it a reliable stopover for road-trippers cruising North Carolina attractions. Guest rooms are furnished with all the usual amenities, as well as data ports, cable TV and coffee makers. Convenient dining is offered at the adjacent Carver's Creek Restaurant. A complimentary cocktail at the manager's reception is a nice bonus.
