Salon 21

Salon 21. I have fine/limp hair and I typically do not write reviews. I have historically moved from salon to salon seeking someone who could give me good advice and make my hair something it is not naturally. I called Salon 21 and was scheduled to meet with Talia. I went there a week ago, wow. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very warm. They made me feel welcome. Talia was great. I am not a hair expert, I just knew I was looking for something that worked and I was not sure what that looked like. Talia gave great advice and we just went for it, with my permission of course. Although I would have never went there without her advice. She wanted me to feel comfortable but her suggestions were comfortable. She listened to me. We went to a medium cut and she gave my hair volume and dimension. The cut is great - the color is great. I am naturally dark blonde and no one (except Talia) to date has suggested giving me a light cool blonde to highlight my natural. I said "go for it" and the results are awesome. I have received so many compliments on the cut and the color. My hair has dimension and volume. She did exactly what I needed, she had a vision--- and she was right! I am going back in 10 weeks and will recommend her to anyone. Thank you Talia!…

Best haircut I've ever had!. I work downtown and went to Salon 21 for convenience...received my best haircut ever! The stylist was Suphee. The price was pretty reasonable, especially considering what barebone barbers around here charge.…

Awesome!. I went there after purchasing a living social deal for salon 21 ($20 for a haircut that’s worth $50+) and I was really afraid that since it was a “deal” they would rush or not really listen to what I wanted, etc. But I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived there on time, and was immediately greeted by my hairstylist, who although seemed like she was young and nervous, was very professional. The shampoo/conditioner treatment was really relaxing and long. I explained what I wanted; she listened to me and made some recommendations. At that point, I was still really afraid that I’d been placed with the new kid because I had a coupon. But she did a fantastic job and it looked really great. She spent a lot of time on my hair and was very attentive to what I’d told her. The place is also really pretty, well-lit with a lot of windows and hardwood floors. My boyfriend went there too, with a living social deal, and his hair has never looked better (and he’s used to paying $60+ for haircuts). We are both hooked for life and Salon 21 is now our salon of choice.…

Not all that. It's a shame that sometimes the 1st appt is the best, but downhill after that. Salon 21 is overrated; haircuts are overpriced. I have long wavy hair that I'm growing down to the middle of my back, so I go only for "dusting" trims to whisk off split ends, but asking me to pay $55+ to "dust off" my ends is a no-go. That is ridiculous--It's NOT a cut, it's a trim. I'm taking my service elsewhere. Rip someone else off.…
