The first Hardee's opened as a walk-up burger restaurant in 1960 in Greenville, N.C. Today, the fast-food chain has locations across the United States and is spreading internationally. Big, beefy burgers--like the 1/3 pound Thickburger--are the stars, along with sides like fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Breakfast offerings range from Made From Scratch Biscuits to Big Country Platters: biscuit, pancake, eggs, hash rounds and choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

This place is like an old man.. once it gets old and over the hill its all down hill from there... My wife picked up a 12 piece chicken combo along with 1/2 gal sweet tea on Thurs July 19... about 7:45pm.

Let me tell you .. if that chicken was any tuffer I could have used it to scrube the paint off the walls of my house. I can say that the skin was seasoned well.. The sweet tea ...it was water with a color..

This isnt the first time we have had bad a experiance with this place.. that last time We both went and got combos that tasted like they had been sitting forever and .. when I was done drinking my tea( the only thing I get from there) there was trash in the bottom of the cup .. because I went to refill it with the 1/2 gal that we got.. I vowed to never eat there again .. but sorry me .. always gives second chances..

Now the customer service people who work there.. very snappy and not very customer friendly.. and of course this all depends if you go in the evening.. the mornin people are still not as nice but they arent snappy and rude..
