Top Shelf!!!. This is easily my favorite bar in Raleighheck, in the entire Triangle area. The atmosphere is excellent, the location is great, and the staff and management is top notch. They charge $3.50 for 22 of their pints (the same price they have been charging since opening in July, 1998) and $4.25 for the other 8 (which are well worth the price). The live music they bring in is excellent and represents a variety of styles. And the bands get all the money from the door and decide what to charge (The Pour House doesnt add to the cover). Among some of their specials is mug night on Wednesdays. You buy a 34 oz mug for $4 (you only have to buy it once and bring it back each week) and pay $3 to fill it up (no cover if you arrive before 9:30). This is the best place in town!…
