Tips for HAVELI Fine Indian Cuisine

Best Indian in the triangle. I have been to most of the Indian restaurants in the area. I recently tried India Palace and am of the opinion that it is the best Indian restaurant in the triangle. Everything we had was wonderful, the staff was nice, the service was great, and the restaurant was clean. It is not in a very impressive location, but do not let that discourage you.

Raqvi's review... best yet!. First impression... the place looks like a hole in the wall in a little area behind a gas station: don't be fooled, once we entered the establishment and were seated... we noticed how wonderfully decorated the restaurant was. We ordered Malai Kofta (my fav) and Chicken Tikka Masala (a good standard). The food was excellent... complex Indian spiciness that can't be faked. Some small details: the vegie samosas are simple, yet pair very well with the spiciness of the chutnies which are fresh and well prepared. The presentation of the meal was also very good. As I've said before, we've been to alot of restaurants and although this is my first visit to India Palace, I can put this one tied for tops with New Dehli in San Francisco. If you want one of the best thus far, go to India Palace.
