Great Food. This has got to be the best BBQ in Garner/ S. Raleigh. I love Jerry and Kathy (owners) and they really have cornered the market on this side of town. Give them a try and let's help keep them in the Garner area.

Terrible Service and substandard food.. I usually try a place 3 times before writing a review. I've had terrible service 3 out of 3 times here. Tonight, I waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged even though the waitress AND hostess walked past me at least 4 times. After 15 minutes passed I asked the waitress if I could please get some service. Another 5 minutes passes without anybody even taking a drink order. This was the first time in probably 8 years that I actually got up and walked out of a restaurant. In past visits, the food is minimally acceptable....but would not say it's "good". Sorry but with extremely poor service 3 times in a row, and marginally acceptable food, I have to give this place a poor rating. Won't be going back.

Great food great people!. The grilled chicken was absolutely super. Cooked to perfection and seasoned exactly right. The owner has to be one of the nicest, funniest people I have ever met.

Between the food and the people you won't find anything any better in the Triangle. Take it from me and I've been eating long enough (64 yrs) to know what I'm talking about.

Friendly Staff & a Unique Decore. This location has a unique country flavor and decor. The friendly staff and owner add to the charm of Olde Time, with a wide variety of menu items to suit most anyone. It's not just a run of the mill barbeque joint with limited selections, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner items. It's also the home of the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motocycle Club's weekly breakfast, catering to some grumpy law dogs.

service & food is terrible. This was our LAST trip to OTB. Service was slow (not enough staff for the size of the restaurant), the food when it arrived had CLEARLY been sitting in the steamers or under the hot lamps too long as the chicken we had was dry & flavorless. BBQ was NOT great - average & electric cooked not smoked or grilled. Mashed potatoes - instant, corn - canned, gravy - canned, green beans - canned with ham hocks added (bleh), fries - limp & cold, baked beans - canned, potato salad - industrial, collards & cabbage - greasy & old, slaw - watery. Unless you get the ribs right after they come off the cooker, they're not worth the $16 you'll pay for them. Our waitress could care less that we were there as she seemed too preoccupied with running her mouth with the rest of the staff than serving the customers. Saw TWO roaches in the dining room in one night this time. NEVER going back!
