Shopping >Best Buy
The employees at this location lied to my face today. I brought in my $50 off a $100 Mastercard purchase to buy a new wireless router to replace one that died yesterday with two preschoolers in tow. The employees told me that I couldn't use the coupon without having it attached to a print-out of the original email and told me that the e-mail included fine print that included that information when I responded that I did not remember reading that anywhere. They wanted me to use a store computer to log into my personal email (I do not own a smartphone). I declined and left the store and my intended purchase. Upon my return home to a secure connection I verified that the original email did NOT have any such wording. It was simply a ploy by the employees to get me out of the store with what sounded like a legitimate reason to refuse my coupon. Surely telling customers they must log into personal accounts on store computers to prove themselves while they have children in their arms at checkout isn't store policy? Regardless it won't matter for this family in the future. We'll look forward to another store moving into your location after your finish alienating your remaining business.
