Hungry Clayton man loves toot-n- tell...yes I do.... Can't please everyone, but I just love to eat there. Great selection, just right, not to hot, not to cold. Great prices too, and a very nice, friendly staff. Of course if you want BBQ, maybe you should try the other, but if you have more sense than money, this is a great place to eat all you want for a great price.., clean too...racisim, you kidding right? Everyone I see of the multi cultured customers including the staff and myself look very happy to be there...

www.livetv.pk. The chicken noodle "soup" had no broth and no taste. The chicken or turkey potpie (mystery meat pie) was also soggie and tasteless. I was hoping for pulled pork BBQ on the buffet. Turns out, they don't even sell it. What the heck!? Most of the items on the buffet were luke warm and just not all that appetizing. I wouldn't go back. Not even if it was free. Save your money. Go to Smithfield's BBQ instead!

Home cooked meals. This is a great family owned restaurant. They treat you like family. It fells like eatting at Grandmas sometimes. I moved to the Garner area and this is a great place to eat for the money. You can get a balance meal for a great cost. I enjoy coming and will continue to eat from here.

racism. ive eaten there once. i will never go back. the food was just plain nasty. i noticed that they are very much against people of color. they want black folks money, then talk chit about u as u walk out the door. look at the health grade, that should be a clue as well. it dont deserve a rating. thats baddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if it weren't for the black folks, they would'nt be in business!!

Greasy tasteless food, out-dated decor, and unfriendly wait staff. My friend Michele picked Toot N Tell for her birthday because of the name mostly. She thought it was hilarious! She also heard that it was down home country cookin' and great bar-b-que. She heard wrong. Well, she heard right that it's down home country cookin', but it was TERRIBLE! You walk into the smoking section and then have to pass through the smelly smoking section to get to the other two "dining rooms." The decor is from the 70's or early 80's. The waitress took about 20 minutes to ask if we wanted drinks, never brought us a menu or asked if we were getting the buffet, so we took it upon ourselves to just get up and get food from the buffet. There isn't much selection. There are more desserts than entrees. The fried chicken was pretty good. The gravy was like liquified fat with extra fat. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. The vat of fat back is unappetizing and unpleasing to the eye. The cabbage was ok, but man, did I have gas later! I didn't try the keibalsa because it looked like it was soaked in fat.
