Awesome Service!! Great help!!. We have been using them since we opened our business. Many times they have helped us out with washer/dryers when ours broke and even got them to us same day. Our animal hospital goes through alot of laundry each day and to not have a washer and dryer is just not acceptable. We will continue to use them and most of our staff shops there as well due to exceptional customer service. Highly recommend them. Thanks for all the great years of helping us out...Cleveland School Animal Hospital.
Great Experience.
Several years ago I bought my Toshiba LCD television at Garner TV & Appliance. It was a pretty good deal and I got good service.
After we bought a new house, I went back to buy a refrigerator - the only appliance the builder didn't supply. The builder offered me a discount on a refrigerator if I went to Sears, but I found that the "discounted" pricing was right in line with what every other store sells appliances for anyway.
The kind folks at Garner TV helped me find the refrigerator that I wanted & that matched the appliances that were already in the house. There were more expensive models available, but they never tried to "up sell" me to one of those. They seemed happy to just get me what I wanted.
Delivery came on the day I asked for; and the delivery guys were quick, clean, and professional. They were obviously being very careful not to scrape any walls or damage my new hardwood floors.
The salesman even called a few days later to make sure I was happy. I have never had that kind of service from a big box chain store!
I'm a customer for life!
Exceptional Support.
My wife and I used Garner TV & Appliance back in June of 2009 to select and upgrade our appliances. Our builder was already working with them so we didn't shop around. At that time I found their staff helpful and informative. Considering it was my first time buying multiple major appliances, I thought the experience was good.
Recently a part on one of our appliances failed well outside of the 1yr manufactures warranty. I reached out the Garner TV in hopes of some support. There were a couple of phone calls back and forth but their CS Rep really came through. I can't tell you how happy I was when I was called and told a replacement part would be shipped to my house free of charge. In three days of being notified that I would be getting it no less.
That kind of customer support is what makes customers come back time and time again. I certainly will return when I do need to either replace or buy another appliance. I greatly appreciate the CS Rep's efforts in getting me that replacement part.
Everyone has different experiences when shopping for appliances, but I really do think this level of customer support should at least convince people to check them out.
Competitive and Professional. Our experience with Garner TV & Appliances have been positive. Their prices are competitive and the salesmen are knowledgeable and friendly. Their deliverymen were professional, thorough, and careful. We have used them in the past and the repairmen they recommend are also excellent. Stop there first even if you find a better price at a box store- give them a chance to match or come close for the service is much better than elsewhere.
Garner TV and Appliance - Capital Blvd. Store Is GREAT!.
This visit was for the purchase of a washer and dryer from the Garner TV and Appliance North Raleigh store located at Plantation Center Drive near the exit of 540 and Capital Boulevard.
The atmosphere created by Chip Johnson as soon as we walked into the store was very welcoming. HIs knowledge of all of the appliances was amazing. He took the time needed to answer all of our questions as we tried to make a decision on which brand to choose. He was very helpful and patient in working with our needs, questions and budget. We received one on one personal service on the days that we visited the store.
The pricing is excellent and we discovered that Garner TV and Appliance can beat the big box stores for price and selection as well as offering special promotions.
An extra that Garner TV and Appliance has is that they have their own delivery trucks and personnel. The delivery people were every bit as professional as the sales people and knew exactly how to install the products. They also were able to answer questions and offer tips during the installation.
We are considering the purchase of a new TV and will do so through Chip Johnson at Garner TV and Appliance in the store location on Capital Boulevard.

This customer purchased a Sharp Microwave oven around August of 2010. At the customer's request we set up service in October. The manufacture decided to replace the unit for the customer. After more customer complaints we refunded the customer money in December in 2010. Let me also note that at no time could a service tech find a problem with the microwave. The customer complaint was noise related.
When a customer complains about a problem on an installed appliance, we must follow the manufactures warranty procedures and normally that involves having an authorized technician to check out the problem.
When our customer wants a replacement we work hard on their behalf to make that happen. Ultimately when a product is under the warranty period, it is up to the manufacture to FIX or REPLACE. Either way the consumer is protected but it's important to understand that the manufacturer makes the decision, not the retailer.
We do have a return policy. You may purchase a product and have it installed in your home and use the product for 10 days. If you're not happy for any reason the product can be returned for the full purchase price. Even after it's used. After 10 days, normal warranty procedures are followed with authorized service to fix any problem that may occur.
Let me add that Garner TV & Appliance has been in business since 1977 under the same original ownership. We have over 28 thousand satisfied customers in our data base. We have the highest rating that can be given by the Better Business Bureau. Please do not let an unfair review like this keep you from visiting our stores.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Sales people are wonderful when you spend money and buy the appliances!!! Then if you have trouble with your product, they are NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!!! Have waited over 1 month now and the appliance is still NOT fixed. Now, none of the store representatives will call us back and no one will return my phone calls. Sales people still say they are checking and this is the 2nd replacement model. All they care about it getting their money.. don't have a problem with your appliance from Garner TV or you are going to be in trouble!! Very sad, wanted to help a family run business... never again.
Not true and not fair to write a review like this. We have provided excellent service to our customers for 34 years now. Our BBB ranting is A+ (highest possible). I can assure anyone reading this review that we take care of every single customer service issue- including the one from this customer.
Great Service and Family Friendly. This is without a doubt the best place to purchase any appliance or tv. I furnished my house over 12 years ago with this local, family owned business! Now I am upgrading several appliances and would trust only this business to assist me. Their sales people know their products, they are all very helpful in showing you several options of appliances to meet your needs and they make you feel you are the most important customer in the room. I have always had great service and they are constantly out performing expectations and their competition. If you have a need, you should definately contact Rita or Amgad !
Excellent Service & Support.
I purchased all my appliances from Garner TV & Appliance 10+ years ago when my new home was built. Recently, I put new wood floors in my kitchen and was ready to have them finished. I needed to move the refrigerator and stove into the dining room while this was being done. I did not want to destroy the hardwood floors in my dining room during this process. I needed someone who knew what they were doing.
I visited Garner TV & Appliance and stated that I had an unusual request and quick timeframe. I explained I needed someone to come the next morning to move the appliances and return in one week to move them back.
Garner TV did exactly what I needed and for a reasonable price. I cannot say enough good things about them! Excellent service and support!
Children do not belong. I am writing because I was in the market to remodel my kitchen so I went to my local hometown dealer...Garner TV & Appliance. It was a great beginning as I was greated by two lovely ladies at the front of the store. I was next approached by a sales lady I believe her name was Rita. The saleslady was very polite and appeared to know her appliances however throughout her sales pitch and presentation of the showroom and what she had to offer we were rudely interrupted multiple times by what appeared to be her small children who were running amuck. It was absolutely rude for a professional bussiness woman to conduct business while constantly getting interrupted by 3 small children. And I love children but they DO NOT belong in the work place. I know Garner TV has built their reputation toward a family business. But I was ready to buy and give back to a company that gives so much but honestly must admit that I was so ready to leave and take my business and money elsewhere to a company that directed their attention on my appliance needs. I'm a mother myself and there is a time and a place to be a mother and to do a job. I was shocked that a company would allow one of their employees to bring their children to work and allow them to run wild. I would be afraid of them hurting themselves...let alone she has to be embarrassed with the interruptions and her inability to concentrate on her job which is to sell. I would highly recommend that this lady should either stay at home and focus on her children or pay a babysitter. If I ever decide to try Garner TV again I hope to get another salesperson. Let me add that I was not looking for one inexpensive appliance.....I went elsewhere and bought $14000.00 worth of appliances.
Very sorry about your experience with our store as we pride ourselves in providing a professional atmosphere for our customers. It is certainly not our policy to allow employees to bring their children to work. The sales associate that helped you is in fact Rita and she does employee a baby sitter. Unfortunate circumstances on this day resulted with her children having to spend some time with us until their father could pick them up. Rita is a responsible, dedicated and knowledgeable member of our team and I believe any employer (of any size business) would have allowed the same. We do hope you decide to try us again in the future and again please accept our apologies.
