Don't take back food that YOU messed up. Its the only compensation the customer gets. Cant believe you're still in business. That petty action lost you a lot of business. But I guess you can resell the food you had to have back.
La Pizza Volante is under new management and customers are excited! I go for lunch a lot and the dining room is always almost full. Everything is made fresh when you order, so if you need something really quick just call ahead and they'll have it waiting for you. I've seen them forming the pizza crust by hand and cutting up fresh vegetables for the toppings. They also have a new special for Sunday night football so you'll want to check that out. They have a lot on the menu that I like including calzones and strombolis (actually a medium pizza flipped over...huge!), grilled chicken subs, chicken ceaser wraps, grilled chicken salads, and more. The grilled chicken is always grilled when ordered and seasoned very well. The prices are good for everything, but it's hard to order anything else when you can have 2 HUGE slices of NY-style pizza and a drink w/free refills for only $3.99! I work next door so I know the employees very well. Don't listen to the negative reviews about service. Try it for yourself...you'll be impressed!
My friends and I have ordered food from La Pizza Volante numerous times, and though the food is good, the service is terrible. We have been charged extra delivery fees, our food never arrives in less than an hour (though we are 10 min from the restaurant), and the order always has a mistake. The customer service is horrible, and when the restaurant makes a mistake they blame it on the customer.
Just this week we ordered chicken gyros and they delivered beef gyros. When we called to inform them of their error, the person on the phone yelled at me and told me that I was costing him a lot of money and that it was my fault that I ordered the wrong thing to begin with. When I asked for a refund, he refused. When I asked to speak to his manager he told me the man was out of the office and he outright refused to give me his name! I called back several times and was repeatedly told the manager was out.
Very dissatisfied, I will never order from there again.
Best Pizza I've had in 3 years. I got a flyer for this restaurant in my door and I am so happy I finally called and ordered. They have delicious pizza that is baked in a brick oven. The crust is perfect like the pizza I have had up North. And you can tell that they use good quality mozzarella. I got delivery and it arrived hot as if it were taken right out of the oven. SOOOOO good. I will never order pizza from anywhere else down here. We also ordered the italian salad. It was gorgeous romaine lettuce with fresh cut crisp veggies and high quality meats. Delivery driver was very nice.
Wonderful Service. Me and my family ordered from La Pizza Volante last night. They were wonderful! The service was wonderful, the food amazing! The delivery was on time and the driver was extremely kind and helpful. They even brought us a flier with new coupons and specials. I don't know why anyone would make a horrible review about this restaurant. They're so great!

Great pasta dinners & more. Love going to La Pizza Volante. The owner and staff are super friendly and show that they appreciate your business. Love the pasta meals, gourmet stuffed rolls, pizza and giant salads. Prices are great and there is always a special deal to take advantage of.
Terrible Experience. In the past my family has ordered from this restaurant with ok results. The food was pretty good, but the delivery time was a little too long. This time our experience was nothing but frustrating. When ordering, the girl who took the order was unfamiliar with the menu and took over 10 minutes to take a simple order. Assuming she was new, I was patient. I was even understanding when someone else called back more than 30 minutes later to tell me that the order was taken incorrectly and I needed to be charged more. My patience began to run thin when after an hour and 20 minutes, my order had not arrived. When I called to inquire about the delivery, I was asked to hold and told the manager was too busy to speak to me. After I insisted, instead of an apology, all I received was excuses and confussion over why I would possibly be upset. After all, he argued it was only 20 minutes late. When I pointed out that it would be more than 20 minutes since the order had still not arrived, he did offer a free dessert on the next order (which we will never make). When I suggested that I would rather have a discount on the current order, he told me that would waste another hour of HIS time to send someone out with a new receipt. This restaurant completely lacks any concept of good customer service.
