The chicken strips were good but the sides were horrible. Liked they cooked them that morning. The Mac and cheese looked like it had salsa in it. And the mashed potatoes tasted burnt.
Terriable food, poor customer service.next time goto Bojangle.
If your looking for a great meal - THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO
Kinda feel like were in a baseball game with this place. Stuck between Fuquay and Raleigh, and having a KFC in both directions Raleigh being further. We went to this KFC the first time and the food was just unbelievable. Everything was perfect and the service couldnt get any better. Then the second time we went.. 2 weeks later - through the drive through - we ordered the summer feast.. get home and find out they have given us a full bucket of fried chicken, no biskets and no gravy. I called the store back and a snappy woman answered telling me they were about to close( even though they still had 30 minutes on the clock )- They said they'd run out of that stuff and didnt put it in the bag.So they fixed it when they received more stock 2 days later.
Third time - we head up on a Saturday to get dinner before they closed.. ok mind you its Saturday and only 8:45 - we pull into the drive through and sit there for about 3 minutes - all the lights are on and we are saying hello with no answer - so I called while sitting in the drive through - a lady answers the phone - HELLo!.. very snappy and sounded to be very highly irritated. I asked if they were closed - she responded yea we closed at 9 - I said well its 8:45 - she said well we have already closed - I explained that I was in the drive through and EVERY SINGLE LIGHT WAS ON in the building. She replied.. we leave all of the lights on until we clean and leave the store, - not complaining but Hey Bojangles is a block away and stays open late with a complete stock of food.. great way to treat customers.
Last time (tonight 7-7-09) thought I would give the kfc one last try.. so go through the drive through.. nice voice come over the speaker asking what we wanted. Asked for the same summer feast(ugh) and then an additional 3 choclate chip cookies. Get to the window and end up waiting 5 minutes for 3 cookies that werent even put in the bag. Getting home and loading the plates .. the fry box was half full along with the gravy. The chicken was so dry and no flavor at all.
the baked chicken is a good thing to eat if you on the atkins or something similar. But I could have saved 15.00 and bought a package of sandpaper.
I will think twice before given this location any more business.
For more than 60 years, this all-American institution has been serving its signature chicken and home-style sides..
In Short
Established in 1939, this fast-food restaurant still makes its legendary fried chicken with the closely guarded blend of 11 herbs and spices originally created by founder Colonel Sanders. Modern additions to the menu include oven-roasted renditions of its chicken sandwiches, popcorn chicken, potato wedges and wraps. Classic sides include flaky, oversized biscuits, steaming-hot mashed potatoes and gravy, smoky-sweet baked beans and crisp, generously dressed coleslaw. Kids and adults love the "little bucket" parfaits of pudding desserts.
