I had important clients coming into town today and needed to get my car detailed before they arrived. These guys got me in at the last minute at the end of the day and stayed late to get the job done. My vehicle came out cleaner then I've ever seen it. I've cleaned the interior by hand myself several times and have never been able to remove some of the spots and stains on the steering wheel carper and door panels the way they did. It looked brand spanking new! I was honestly shocked. I signed up for their VIP program and plan to get full use of it! These guys ROCK!
Great wash and service.
Discovered via a social deal and had a great experience - fast wash, with personal experience. Had tried other washes and found the auto spa did the best job, fastest and with great service.

Just gone bad. What used to be the best became worst. Just to get pollens off we went through $5 quick wash and soap spots made the car worse spotting the whole car. We had to go through another place to get the spots out...just bad!
Decent basic wash, but upgrades aren't worth the extra $$$.
The basic $5 wash is decent, it gets the dirt, salt, and whatever else off, and gets your wheels mostly clean. The first time I went to CAS, I bought the $10 which adds the "towel dry" and special attention to wheels. The attendants spent an extra minute (if that) drying off my car, then wiped the inside of my rims off and added a thin layer of armor all to my tires. I can do that myself for a fraction of the cost.
A friend of mine bought the interior/exterior service, where after a wash, they were supposed to wipe down and detail the inside of the car. He said the only thing they did was do a quick wipe with a damp towel once across the top of the dash - lots of dust still present.
The free vacuums make the $5 worth it, but I wouldn't get any of the premium services unless you had a coupon.

Currently I live where I cannot wash my car myself, so I decided on my lunch break to try this place which is near my work - given that I would be spending about $8 to wash and vacuum it myself somewhere else.
I got the $16 supposedly total car wash, just to try it out. I'm glad I didn't spend more money, and I won't be going back. The dash was supposed to be dusted- it was 100% untouched. There were still spots on the windsheild that I got off myself later in about 30 seconds of effort. They did vacuum it, and that was a decent job. The auto-car wash however is clearly really dated stuff - and does not get the car very clean - the entire rear of the car you can just forget (same as any auto place. For less). The high school kids working did dry it, but whatever they use leaves little lint bits all over (pinky-orange which is really noticable on my paint color). I wasn't expecting "as" good a job as if I could do it all myself, but I was still really dissapointed for $16! I could have done the same (if not better) at any gas station for less.
Bad experience. I normally due all my own maintenance and cleaning. Groupon had a deal for a carwash and oil change for 30 bucks so I thought I'd splurge and get one for my wife. I called ahead and the girl that answered said they take appointments and it would be 30 to 40 mins. I sent wife over there on her lunch hour. When she called to make appointment the girl was kind of rude and said to be on time. She got there ten minutes early to be told they may not be able to wash the outside of her car because there was a car stuck in the carwash. When they removed the car she saw sparks as they drug the car loose. One hour and 20 minutes later my wife got her car back. They managed to clean the outside, but the seats were not vacuumed and the armor all job was lousy and there was still brake dust on the rims. Granted I only paid 30 bucks, but this was supposed to be a 60 dollar service. Unacceptable! There's no way I would've paid 60 dollars for this lousy of a service. Bad first impression. Never again!!! This wasn't even a Saturday. It was Friday the 23rd of July around noon. Hardly would say "upscale carwash."
Carolina Auto Spa. I am sorry to say that our experience with Carolina Auto Spa was very negative. My husband went to have our car washed with floormats in. When he came home, there were NO FLOORMATS. The response from this business was we were LYING. I am sorry but, you don't find many more honest people than we are. Complaints with the Better Business Bureau were ignored by this business and never resolved. They never offered to replace our loss. We will never go back.

Floor mat loss is not a common problem for us. If they come out of the car during cleaning, they sit right next to the car in plain view and then are replaced. Further, to clarify the exact wording from my staff, I doubt any of my employees literally said you were lying which is what the review says....they may have professionally disputed the fact that we lost the mats - I can believe that - but I find it highly improbably that they literally said "Sir, you are lying....please clarify for the community." Very Thorough and Professional.
I took my car in for a full interior detailing which came with a free exterior wash. I called earlier in the week and made an appointment for Saturday morning. I highly recommend arranging transportation for this service since it takes a few hours. Shortly after noon I got the call that it was finished.
Even before I pulled in I could see my car shining out in the parking lot and was already impressed. The interior was meticulously gone over, all plastic surfaces were cleaned and protectant applied. The seats and carpets were all shampooed and even the vents from my AC were cleaned eliminating that mildew smell. They even cleaned my trunk which I was not expecting and even bagged up all the junk I left back there so I wouldn't lose anything.
Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous. I'm no longer embarrassed to let other people ride in my car, thanks Carolina Auto Spa!

With car washes, often service is mixed and inconsistent, not with Karl. He will get you there and you will love your car afterwards.
