In Short – Televisions, neon bar signs and wooden wainscoting provide the basic bar look without a lot of frills. The space is split into two rooms, one of which has pool tables. Smoking is freely indulged, while the drafts pour to the sounds of "Space Truckin." Waitstaff in T-shirts and jeans work to keep up with the large crowd gathered to unwind. Basic pub fare includes burgers, fries, chef's salad, buffalo wings and nachos. The best bet on the menu by far is the burgers, which are large, juicy and served every way imaginable.
Terrible service, mediocre (at best!) food

I've had more than one really bad experience at this bar, and I now avoid going there pretty much altogether. This place used to be great, but in the past few years the overall quality has gone down. I don't ask for much as far as 'friendliness' in my servers, but I work in customer service and expect for my order to be taken in the first twenty minutes that I'm there and without an attitude. More than once this has not been the case at Harrison's. I've had two or three DIFFERENT waitresses act as though I'm bothering them with my patronage. After the food is delivered, they disappear, even if there are no drinks on the table. They take fifteen minutes to get your drinks after you've finally flagged them down and you have to hunt them in the same way in order to pay your check! It would be hard to put up with this for some really good food, but it has gone down in quality as well as the service. If you're going just for drinks and don't mind being treated like crap, this is the place for you.
- Pros: Two seconds from my house
- Cons: Poor service (attitude and promptness), food
Terrible Service and Poor food

We used to go to Harrison's with our friends weekly, the food was great (loved the ribeye sandwich with parmesan encrusted tomatos, no longer on the menu) and the service was friendly and decent... NOT ANYMORE! I don't know if they have had a change in management (I have never seen the manager there) and we rarely see the same waitress... even though were there weekly no one ever knew or remembered us. I don't know exactly when the change took place, but I would say in the last 18 months to 2 years. There is no attention to detail with the food anymore, the burgers are still good, but whoever is cooking them doesn't know how to hit the temperature you ordered. We have been testing out new Pubs to go too... we have tried Spirits and Wild Wings and Rings so far... may try that new place on Harrison Blvd where Terroro's used to be... but there is no pleasure in going to Harrison's anymore. The last time we were there we had a friend call and have us order her food for her... she didn't show up for 30 minutes and the food didn't come out until a good 10 or 15 minutes after she got there. Another friend had to go inside to find his waitress and get his credit card back... getting a beer on the patio is absolutely impossilbe, and I have never had a manager come by and check on us... it is unfortunate, the food and service used to be great and the only thing I had to complain about was the cell phone coverage inside! Now they have lost anywhere from 8-10 regulars who came every week. I wish this bar would improve because their location is perfect for us. The only reason I am even giving them one star is because the critique requires it! I hope someone reads this and makes the changes necessary to bring the old Harrison's back.
- Pros: Close to home
- Cons: Service and food

a big group of us went to this place a few nights ago and asked one of the asian girls in our group and two of the african american boys in our group to leave. i couldn't believe it. it was clearly obvious that it was for racial reasons. i will never go back to this place again and do not recommend anyone to.

The pool table side has more of the action. It seems everyone who can't get in on a game at least likes to be a spectator.
