Not Recommended!

I had high hopes for this place based on reviews, but after getting auto service from them I have high suspicions they effectively utilize these rating services (city search, yelp and Angie's list) and pick and choose who they'll dupe next.

My first hesitation is when they told me my car needed a tune up which included new spark plugs and wires (sort of odd since I had this done one and a half to two years prior, I thought maybe that place didn't do something right; not so sure anymore). They also made some other recommendations, which did make sense, $800 later.

The real problem came when one day later steam was rolling from the hood, the engine light and heat light both came on. I figured I better park it before something breaks or makes it worse. I called CCC and they said they'll get a town truck. I had to find my own ride back to work. Now apparently something else "coincidently" broke, a $300 bill later. Granted this could have been coincidence, but a day later, after my first drive on the highway, for an issue I've never had before (thermostat stuck)??? They also made me pay for the $65 tow charge and they wouldn't give me ANY break on the labor. The only break they gave me was a "diagnostic fee" charge, which is quite peculiar because I never had them charge that fee the first time I took the car there. I believe they just threw that in their to make it look like they were giving me a break.

Now I'm not saying they sabotaged my car, but I have to say, the work they did prior was an indirect link to the new failure, possible direct link.

Honestly, my gut tells me this is not a very honorable place to do business. Basically, I forked over 800 bucks for stuff already done and was then given the TOUGH LUCK attitude for something else that broke down a day later.

Bottom line...you might want to STEER CLEAR from this place.

Great Auto Shop!

Cary Car Care is AWESOME! It is hard to find a good car repair that you can trust--but Cary Car Care will make sure that your car is repaired and/or running like new when you leave their shop! They also will be upfront and honest about the exact problem with your car and the cost to get it fixed! They are very professional and care about their customers! I will definitely continue to bring my car back to Cary Car Care and recommend them to friends and family!

Happy to find a trusted mechanic

We went to Cary Car Care based on the reviews and we have not been disappointed. Any time we have had service they have explained the issues thoroughly and have felt confident with the quality of their work. They are great about communicating and we have never had to call them to inquire about the status of the repair. Paul (owner) is very personable and it is a pleasure to have found them!

Swindles money..avoid this place

Based on all the reviews I saw on the web, I went to this place. But my personal experience was so unlike everyone on this forum.

My car was problems over a month and I replaced things over many auto shops and when it finally didnt work, I searched the net and went to this guy. First of all to schedule an appointment he took 3 days..I waited for 3 days and towed my car to his place..I told him about the problems I had in the past and coughed close to $600 on my car earlier. He seemed fine to talk to initially..Couple of hours later he came with a quote of $2000 which seemed so exorbitant to me..It seemed to me that he was taking advantage of my situation as I had already told him all my problems..It was a shocker for me..I immediately found out about some other car care centers and got a quote from them on the phone..One of them said the work can be done within $1200, another one said it can be done $600 to $800. I searched all over the net and I found that the work can be done by a max of $1000. Which clearly meant that this guy was trying to swindle me..

When I tried to tow my car away from his workshop, he created a big fuss about it and gave me a lecture about their service..Hell! i'll never go back to this shop which is doing day-time robbery.

He might treat existing custoemrs well, but new users go with a pinch of salt...
