Review for Standard Construction. We would rate Standard with less than one star, if possible. As with previous posts, we were stood up for appointments, given ridiculous estimates, "encouraged" to spend $500 on a yet to be delivered soft/hard scape design, and cannot get a phone call returned. We were clear about what we wanted and what our time constraints were. None of this was honored. We have never experienced such belligerently offensive treatment from a potential contractor. Would in the strongest manner recommend that any interested party stay away from this outfit.

Don't return phone calls and barely work a full day. Company was recommended by reputable pool company and after meeting with owner, getting alternate bids and designs, I signed a contract with this company. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking. Good luck getting someone in the office to answer your call and when someone does they will tell you they are in a meeting and will call later, but never return calls. The crew has yet to work a full 8 hour day in 3 weeks. A couple guys will show up after lunch and work a few hours. The project is crawling at a snails pace. The work (so far) looks good but scheduling seems to be a major problem for this company! I highly recommend stipulating a deadline and penalties for overdue completion. The owner will argue that due to weather he cannot commit but come to terms on one day rain does not equate to 3 days off!!! BEWARE of these issues when dealing with this company. Also, this company is building a store and the crew has been diverted to this project before completing obligations the owner already has contract commitments on. Seems this company is growing faster than their ability to manage.

Awesome, accountable and reliable. This company was terrific. They were at the Southern Ideal Home Show They were easy to talk to and explained in detail what they would do if we chose them for our project. They provided us with references and detailed landscape design plans. This put our minds at ease that we were dealing with a reputable company. We are so happy we chose them to do our project. We are over the moon with their performance. This is a company that will do as promised.

Beautiful Deck. We love our beautiful deck. I can't wait to start grilling. They even built us two wooden flower boxes out of the left over materials.

Our next project with Standard Construction involves removing an existing retaining wall and replacing it with a new one.

Peter has an eye for details.

NOT RELIABLE AT ALL !!! 0000 rating!. I totally agree with the other reviewer. This company is not reliable at all. They never showed up to 2 appointments. I even asked them to let me know if they would not be able to make it on the second appointment and of course they never even bothered to call me. I'm glad this has happened because It's a sign that they are not reliable and it would not be a good idea to hire them to do any work. BEWARE!!!

Very Disappointed. I would not recommend using this company. They stood me up twice. The second time, they never even bothered to call me. I waited weeks to get my appointment, and then was cancelled on. While they have a very slick website, they don't have a very robust business behind it. No one usually answers the phone, and when they do, they don't really provide much help.

Inexpensive. Inexpensive, standard construction that is good for large areas, such as large yards and fields
