Misrepresented Mortgages. Do NOT use this branch for mortgage loans! Brendan Medlin a loan office at the preston corners location in Cary, NC misrepresented this branch during the closing of my mortgage loan. Brendan informed me that Suntrust bank never sells any of their mortgages, the value of this to me would be free checks and free non suntrust ATM usage (up to 4 per month) for the life of the mortgage. I do not use alot of checks, nor do I visit non suntrust ATMs. I called to order checks this week and was informed my account would be charged. Thinking of my relationship with Suntrust over the past few years, I thought just a phone call to my local branch would correct the issue. After being sent to a few different departments and being placed on hold for an extended amount of time, I finally spoke with a customer service representative named Tonia McCall at the preston village cary, NC branch location. This person was not willing to help me at all, infact she misinterperated everything I said. McCall wanted to know if I had Mr. Medlin's promise/personal gaurantee in writing? Totally unexceptable! After this gross waste of time, I have decided to take my business elsewhere...Over $13.00 and MOST importantly MISREPRESENTATION!
