Cary >Phase Ii Personal Training Center
Great personal training. In September 2010 I decided to seek out a personal trainer to help get me in better physical shape. I have a number of issues with my lower back and shoulders that put limitations on what I can do physically. I was seeking someone who knew a great deal about anatomy and had the patience to work with someone like me who needed both a trainer and physical therapist. At the suggestion of a friend of mine I visited Phase II. Glad I took their advice. I met and started training with Deborah R. Within the first visit I knew I had made the right decision. Deborah sat me down to get information about my history and goals for the training, then put me through some physical test and based on her extensive knowledge of the body she laid out the critical things we needed to work on to get me stronger and feeling better. I have now just completed my first 30 sessions with Deborah and am amazed at how much better I feel. Not only has she been helping to strengthen my body, she has taught me a great deal about nutrition. Her patience, constant encouragement, and the fact that she genuinely cares about my health is why I look so forward to each of my sessions. I have also found the staff and all the trainers at Phase II are very friendly. The men's bathroom, shower and complete facility is kept extremely clean. Just a great place to get yourself in shape.
I was introduced to Phase II during a fraternity meeting. I was at a point in my life (50) where I no longer liked what my body looked like in the mirror. After my initial four month program, I saw great results. I lost 30 pounds and gain three belt holes. I had six suits, one blazer, and fourteen pair of pants altered. This was a great experience for me and I felt great about my appearance.
I utilized the weights on Monday and Wednesday and worked on my cardio on Fridays. It has now been eleven months of physical training. And toned I am. I had Brian C. for my trainer. I liked the atmosphere and the equipment was more than adequate to help me reach my objectives. I appreciated the encouragement that I was getting from my trainer and its staff.
The men's bathroom was very clean and comfortable. I could easily bring my work clothes with me and leave for work afterwards. The staff was very courteous and the conversation with the staff and other fitness participants was enjoyable.
You can easily do better. If you are serious about training, forget this place. The core clientele is flabby houswives from Cary, and it probably serves that market pretty well. The equipment is for the most part old and in poor condition. In fact, most of it should be junked or given to a thrift shop. The trainers seem decent but are generally bored, probably because of the low expectations they have for their clients. You won't find any triathletes, marathoners, bodybuilders, or serious athletes wasting their time and money here. Instead, it's a bunch of fat people chatting with their bored trainers while top 40 radio plays in the background on a thirty year old sound system.
Great place to train!. I have been going to Phase II in Cary for quite some time now, and I must say I really enjoy my training sessions. The staff is great, it's a fun atmosphere, and most importantly I have seen great results in a short period of time. This was exactly what I was looking for in personal training. I highly recommend Brian C. (my trainer) - he's awesome! You can't go wrong here.
It's fun to train. I started at Phase II in Cary in October 2005. You couldn't ask for a friendlier, more helpful staff. My trainer is Ally and she is terrific! She makes sure my workout is tailored to MY needs not just some workout from a book.
Comfortable Environment, Great Staff. I started my personal fitness program with a trainer here based on a recommendation from a friend. I must say that I have been more then pleased. The environment is comfortable and extremely friendly, and the staff are truly concernend about your health and fitness level. Decent prices for personal trainers in this area! I'd recommend this facility to anyone who's interested in making a lifestyle change, and needs a little help!
