Their service has greatly improved. We went to them for years and were disappointed the last time or two at their poor service. However, they really have turned around the last few months and they caught a needed brake fix while doing another repair. Another brake and transmission place said they didn't need replacing even after I complained about them getting progressively squeaky (we're talking loud). Tim said they were so worn that the calipers also needed replacing. My car is finally quiet for the first time in several months. I feel like we can depend on them again.

Tim and the pit stop crew always takes care of us. He tells it like it is and will show and explain to us in plain language what is wrong with our vehicle. I like that he gives us a ride home when we need it.

Fast, Friendly and Affordable. Been going to Pit Stop for years. They have always been friendly, fair and honest. I read the other reviews on here and they make no sense at all to me because I've never experienced any of those things. I do know this, there was a guy who was recently working there, he left under not so great circumstances which were in his control, so he is a ex employee with a axe to grind, so to speak. He uses several different names on here and it is very upsetting to see him try to destroy the good name of this business.

Worst Shop Ever!. Most of the services they provide here are a SCAM plain and simple. Especially the power steering and brake flushes they offer. I worked there and believe me, it's all about getting Tim's bottom line up with these worthless services. Tim always seems friendly and knowledgable, but this is just an act. Once you become a regular he will run you through the wringer. Alan the "jailbird" manager knows next to nothing about cars or how to maintain them. The way Tim runs his business is by the seat of his pants and usually ends up in total chaos. While working for him I was promised commisions on services performed provided I wrote down what I did. When it came time to collect Tim would always play the "I'm too busy for anything" act. Which I let slide for a few weeks because I figured I owed him $100 for a service I performed on my own vehicle but figured he would come talk to me and settle up when he was less busy. His idea of settling up was to take $116 (more than what I owed him) out of my paycheck without even consulting me allowing him to continue to evade paying me my commision money. Bottom line is this a very "white-trash" type of business. Most of the employees he keeps are inexperienced bums who only work there because they have too many felony convictions to work anywhere else. If you like getting scammed by morons and their fancy machines pay this dump a visit.

waste your money & time. i have to agree with the all of the negative reviews. be careful before decide to go with them unless you dont care when the repair will be done. and you have problems on how to spend your money. these guys are real cheaters

Cary's Best Auto Shop. Been going to Pit Stop since Tim took ownership over 10 years ago. You'll get the best price in town and great service. Tim even came to my house one time to remove a broken belt from my car in the driveway and then drove it to his shop to fix it that day! He'll never sell you something that you don't need and I trust him like a brother.

Bunch of scammers!. I went there and felt like I was being totally scammed. The guy there did not know much about cars I could tell and he kept pushing this $110 service on me after I clearly stated I just want the oil change. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER ALAN, HE'S A CROOK!

Great Service Great Prices Great Employees. Great place to take your car for services. Staff is friendly. Being a female and having to take your car to the shop can be hard sometimes, I don't know alot about cars and can be taken advantage of ,but at a Pit stop , I feel comfortable with what they tell me I may need for my car. No games or gimics. I travel from North Raleigh to get my car serviced by these guys. I have recommended family and friends who have also been just as a satisified.

I trust them .. You say you no longer trust them did you contact the owner because this is a great shop and trustworthy.
