I went to Tanas for waxing services on a recommendation from several Triangle Mommies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BETH!!! I got a Brazilian wax and thigh wax that was quick, thorough, and relatively painless (I didn't even feel when she was waxing my thighs). Beth is very friendly and personable, and made me feel immediately at ease. The location is convenient and the staff is professional. Thank you again Beth, I will definitely be back!!! :)

Lauren Lear is the best! Since she first cut and colored my hair over 5 years ago I have never been to anyone else. Not only is she extremely talented- she is one of the sweetest people I know! I have sent at least 8 other people to her and we all rave about how much we love our Lauren!!

I have to disagree with Ashley H. Lauren is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I can't ever see her being rude to anyone especially a client. Lauren is awesome in my book!

I've been going to Tanas for years. I have therefore been seen by many stylists. From Lauren to Sarah to Erica to Lori. I would highly recommend this place. I would also love to recommend Lauren. She has done my hair for a couple years now and I love my hair. She has always been professional with me and we tend to always have a good time. She is a stylist that will listen to you. She does what I want and gives me recommendations if she thinks what I want won't look good. She knows her stuff and I will continue to see her for as long as I'm living in the Cary area. I also have been waxed by Beth and she is wonderful!

I went in for a cut and color twice. The hair color didn't last more than 5 shampoos both times. When I mentioned it to the hairdresser the first time, she said it was my water. I subsequently used touch-up the second time which lasted 4 weeks. (I've never had a problem with color treatments from other salons.)

Unfortunately, it's too expensive and totally unnecessary to be touching up your own hair after a salon treatment and 5 shampoos, (cut +color +tip = $120) . For the record I tip 20 percent and even gave a generous holiday tip of $100.

LAUREN AT TANAS IN CARY IS HORRIBLE!!! I always use this location and every one is always so friendly and pleasant. I was recently unable to get in with my normal stylist due to holiday rush and was seen by her. She was extremely rude the entire time that I was there and made it seem as if I was an burden to her. She had absolutely NO personality.. I tried to start a conversation with her more than once.. If this would have been my first experience with this salon then I definitely would not ever step foot back in there!!! As for all of the other stylist and receptionists, they are great!! I highly recommend this salon with the exception of her.

Atmosphere, staff and prices are great. All the stylists I've used are skilled. There are a couple of them that did a nice job but I switched to another Tanas stylist because they just blabbered on and on. (Lori is the worst babbler. I won't even go to someone who works near her to avoid hearing her non-stop imitations of her little kids.) I think that's sort of a problem with stylists in general...they think we're interested because we're polite so they don't screw up our haircut.

Great aestheticians and environment!. I love Tanas! I live in NYC but am from Cary and like to visit when I'm home. I've been to Katie for my brows and my mom has gone to her for her brows as well as several facial / microderm treatments. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the treatments they have to offer and takes special care in the recommendations she gives. You can tell that Katie loves what she does and truly cares about each and everyone she sees. She also recommended a coworker (I can't recall her name) who gave me the best massage I've ever had. I can't wait to go back!

VERY PROFESSIONAL. Recently, I went to Tanas', in Cary, for electroloysis. Being new to the state, I was sort of apprehensive, but once I met, Rita,she quickly put my fears to rest. Rita was personable,gentle and proficient at her job.I would highly recommend her as an electrologist. I was so satisfied with the job she did...I let her know afterwoods what a wonderful job she did. So if you are looking for someone you can trust to do a good job....go to Rita at the Cary location of Tanas Hair Salon
