Tips for Annie's Attic

Annies Attic. I would rather eat dirt than go there again. But then, I can't since it closed. Who on earth wants to shop at a consignment shop online? You miss so many gross smells that were emitted from the ugly old outdated store.

Rebecca was not only the rudest so-called business person that I ever met, but she gave ALL of my clothes to a donation store, and, took the tax receipt. IRS, are you listening?

Wonderful Consignment Shop!. I have shopped at Annie's Attic for years and could not ask for a better place to find the brands that I enjoy wearing. Tons of Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, J Crew and desiginer handbags!

The owner is very pleasant and she is always willing to provide her honest opinion on how an article of clothing looks on you. Let's be honest, we all need that from time to time.

Friendly shop and great finds. I will be a customer for life!

Another customer who lost cloths and money. I recently brought items to Annies closet and was not satisfied. Rebecca, the owner, has admitted to the Better Business Bureau that "the Carlisle jacket, was accidentally pulled off the floor when we were doing a donation". This jacket had a retail value of $395 which Rebecca, after getting rid of the jacket which was contrary to her consignment agreement, said was not "high end". Fortunately I taped her conversations and now have evidence that she lied, mislead and destroyed my property. According to her contract she becomes the owner of the cloths only after the expiration of the 60 day consignment period. I strongly recommend that you do not do business at Annie's Closet.

Do not consign here! Lost money and clothes!. I consigned a lot of nice clothing, some of it new with tags, to Annie's Attic. The owner charged me $12 to consign them, saying that the money would be used in case they needed to do any repairs, etc.

A week or two later, she called me to come pick up a silk dress. The zipper had broken and she couldn't sell it.

Several weeks later I called to see if things had sold or if I should pick them up. She told me that nothing had sold, and she had "donated" everything. She gave me no details on where or when she had "donated" it.

So I lost all the clothes, except for the dress that was damaged while in her store, and $12.

Surprised by the negative comments!. I've been shopping at Annie's Attic for several years and have found that it just gets better & better! Now there are even more high-end brands and more room to shop since the expansion. Great for finding designer jeans and boutique items like Coach bags (I found my laptop bag there). If you're looking for a cheap thrift store, I can see why you'd be disappointed. If you are looking for good prices on stuff from Banana Republic, J Crew, Talbots, Ann Taylor, etc. + designer bags, jeans, and shoes, you should check out Annie's Attic. The owner is understandably picky about what she accepts--which is why it's a great place to shop. She's always been very friendly to me.

Great place for bargains and excellent service. I have been shopping and consigning at Annie's Attic for 10 years. The owner makes it a priority to know her labels and prices the clothing at a remarkable discount when compared to retail prices. This is not a thrift store and carries only the best clothing brands. I have consigned here as well and have always been impressed by the fair prices i have received for my clothing. I will never shop the mall again!!!!

What a consignment shop should be. Great selection, prices, and service.. Annie's Attic provides a great shopping experience. I get in the store about four times a year to update my wardrobe or find a specific work outfit. Everything is organized by size, color, and type of clothing...casual, work, dressy. The jewelry, shoes, and handbags are great additions. I am able to add to my wardrobe at very reasonable prices and the clothes that are sold there are in great shape that you really don't know they are second hand. The store is fun, clean, and decorated so cute. Be sure to look at the great wall paintings and cute sayings that are part of the decor.

Snotty owner. Snotty owner acts like she is operating an exclusive dress shop and all that entails, instead of selling used clothing. Over priced! You can buy the same items new at first markdown in a retail store for about the same price. These are after all used clothes.. This store is not for the typical resale shopper. There are more welcoming places to shop!

Good prices with knowledgable and friendly staff. I love treasure shopping at Annie's Attic. I can find near-new or brand-new items at approximately 75% or more off of retail. My closet's filling up faster than my wallet is empying. :-)

One of the best features of this shop is that the staff has a really good eye for styles that look good on me. I can give them a general idea of what I'm looking for and they'll come back with several excellent choices.

Avoid this shop. The prior reviewer must be a relative of the owner as that assessment certainly did not ring true with me. I found the owner to be rude and difficult to deal with. I switched to Classic Clothiers and couldn't be happier. The owner is genuinely pleasant and remembers all consigners while the owner of Annie's Attic is the opposite. I also found that my clothes now get a much fairer and realistic assessment than I was getting at Annie's Attic.
