Great Seafood and now Italian Food is on the menu.
I have had the pleasure of eating out a lot and Tony's is one of my favorite Cary restaurants! I love the fact that the owner is in the litchen cooking and when not, out in the dining room greating patrons. The atmosphere is great especially on the wekends. We love to stay late and dance to one of the great bands who play there. Doesn't matter what band... they all play my favorite dance music. If you have a chance, you should go and support locally owned businesses instead of chains.
Keep your money within our community and get a great meal while doing it.
The Worst Server!!.
Our group of 9 family members (6 visiting from out of state) went to celebrate our nephew graduating from high school.
Server was extremely rude and sarcastic right from the start. My request to speak with a manager or get another server was ignored. We finally had enough of his sour attitude and decided to leave.
We were really disappointed in the servers's rude behavior, and the fact that the staff failed to correct the situation when brought to their attention.
Very poor service!!!
Great Food & Service!. My company recently hosted a dinner here and I was very impressed. The food was excellent and I cannot say enough about the service by both the bar and the wait staff. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Will definately go back!
Great Time on New Year's Eve!. We enjoyed a wonderful meal of "Red Beans and Rice" and a peck of oysters (lightly steamed) at the Oyster Bar on New Year's Eve. At 10:30 the "Lawn Darts" put on a great show that carried us into the New Year! We have been back twice since that night. They also just renovated the bathrooms and painted the restaurant and private dining rooms. The new menu and the new website are fantastic with all of our favorites and few new items from chef Gino Russo. We are now regulars on Wednesday night.
Great Food and Wonderful Service!. A friend and I went to Tony’s early one evening and had their ½ price appetizers. Price can’t be beat and the taste was amazing! Definitely recommend the Ahi Tuna and Calamari. They had a Swordfish special that night and we tried it. Awesome! Best fish I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff. The Chef even came by and asked us if we enjoyed our meal. OMG! I told him the Tuna and Swordfish rocked! You can tell they were very appreciative of our business. A must place to have dinner. Will be back again soon!
Better than Ever!!!!. My family and I have always enjoyed Tony's. We went in last week after they renovated and it is even better. The new decor is Great and the menu selections are better than ever!!!
The New Tony's.
Went to Tony's this past weekend, and WOW!!!!
It’s a whole new place from the decor to the menu..
Great atmosphere and food, I strongly recommend checking it out. The new Italian dishes are AMAZING!
This place rocks! Great food and good live music. Tony's has really stepped up their game. The new decor looks great and the new menu items that we ordered were great. I recommend the italian dishes and the tuna appetizer.
Irresponsible management and security. I was at Tony's last night and some poor girl overdid the Xmas cheer and was so seriously drunk, she was unconscious and men had to carry her out of the ladies bathroom. They were trying hard to get her to come to. What were the waitresses doing in the meantime? Standing there watching with folded arms. The security guard? Watching from afar. Several people told the waitresses and security guy that this was a serious situation and they needed to call 911 but they just stood there watching. Finally some patrons called 911. One person went up to the guard and said you need to take responsibility and call 911 and he just waved his arm and blew her off. I hope the girl made it. Tony's has alot of fights on weekends and it almost seems the management likes it to go on for bit, like a show, before intervening. Personally I am scared to be there after 1:00 a.m.!
Yummy but not N'Awlins.
Growing up in New Orleans food is very important to a girl like me but not so much to the Yankee I married. When I found a Tony's I thought I maybe I found taste of home. .. not so much.
I happily order the appetizers and seafood dishes. I enjoy going there each and everytime I do. I think the food is yummy and I always leave happy. But the food is in no way what I would consider New Orleans type of food.
My husband cant tell the difference between their jambalaya or their gumbo. I havent ordered either and from sitting across from it I cant tell the difference from looking either. He says they taste similar but nothing like either of the dishes I make or the ones we get when I bring him 'home'.
SO in conclusion it is a great resturant but if you want some good Louisiana food go up to Batistellas.
