Ask For Angela.... Had a business dinner at Jimmy v's this week. Angela was my waitress, she did a great job. Very friendly and a good server! The restaurant was dead because of Labor Day weekend and gas prices but I left the restaurant feeling like I'd just had one of the best filets I've ever eated. Had the 12 oz filet, the bread was awesome, the crab cakes and shrimp were also excellent. Highly recommended.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The steak is the best steak I have ever eaten. The wait staff is excellent. My boyfriend and I are treated so special when we go there. It's such a nice little steakhouse that we go for every special occasion. HIGHLY reccomended.

Poor Service, Great Food. I would have given this place a perfect rating if it had not been for the service. It was awful. Not only was our server rude, but she was very hard to find. Drink refills averaged on twenty minutes, even for a sprite. The food was wonderful, the wine list was a little on the small side, but not bad. I would definately go again, except for the fact that I did not enjoy spending that much money to receive terrible service.

Phenomenal!. What a wonderful experience! We were greeted upon entering by the hostess and manager, seated immediately, "watered" (as they called it) and our waitress, Lauren came over promptly. Her description of the specials had us drooling and she recited them gracefully while performing proper wine service! Our prime rib, asparagus and baked potato arrived in a perfect amount of time, exactly as ordered and it tasted great! We arrived at 7:30 and were told we were lucky we got the prime rib, so I would suggest getting there early if that's your meat preference!

All in all, our experience was wonderful and I will go there again and again and highly recommend to everyone I know!

Like some smoke with dinner?. If you enjoy eating while others are puffing away on cigarettes right next to you, then Jimmy V's is the place to go. They have one row of non-smoking tables... and right next to the non-smoking section is the smoking section! There is no divider, no screen, no nothing to keep the smoke away from those who desire a smoke-free environment. The food is spectacular and service great but totally inappropriate to even say they have a non-smoking section.

My Home Away From Home. Cozy, friendly, top quality service and food. Not to mention the outstanding wine list. It doesnt matter if Im in the mood for seafood, pasta or steak Im never disappointed. The portions are generous and you get a lot for your money. Since I get a choice from many different salads and sides, I never get bored. As a high-level exec with one of the RTP's leading companies I have hosted numerous business meetings thru the years at Jimmy V's. I also visit with my family and friends on a weekly basis. The entire staff makes you and your guests feel welcome. They sincerely enjoy their job, which shows by the fact that several members of their organization have served the company for many years. Jimmy Vs Steakhouse & Tavern is like the business executives Cheers, where everyone knows your name.

Classy Recovery!. My husband and I visited for a second time after thoroughly enjoying our first visit. When my steak arrived and was cooked slightly more than the medium-rare I ordered, our server insisted on having another prepared for me. To our pleasant surprise, my steak arrived quickly, cooked to perfection along with the manager's apology, my dinner on the house, and a free round of drinks for my table. I will recommend them to everyone and go back again and again.

top notch. Excellent food served by the most attentive staff in gracious surroundings. Will modify menu on request to meet individual needs and desires. Wine list is great and staff well versed in wines. Great for small or large parties or intimate dinners.
