BEST STORE IN THE AREA!!. I've been shopping at Wilderness House for 10 years and I always find something fabulous at this shop! The staff and owner are very pleasant, helpful and friendly! They have assisted me many times with gifts and items for myself. Never had a problem with returns, but I keep my receipts which always avoids any issue at any store. I disagree with the review below from a very emotional customer. Just keep your receipt when you go shopping! The customer service is always wonderful at this store!! If you haven't visited this store before, do yourself a favor and go! It has beautiful clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc!!

We worked hard with Dansko and Dansko agreed to work with customer directly for full satisfaction. No sales receipt, very difficult, emotional. Unprecedented customer reaction: Yelling we were a terrible store; never leaving our store; her husband was an attorney and she was going to sue us; went outside to yell more.

Since 1989, we’ve done business the right way: great products and friendly, honest customer service.

Worst store. This store has the worst service. They advertise that they sell Dansko shoes. They sold my friend 2 pair of these shoes. My friend fell and twisted her ankle and hurt her knee really bad. Keep in mind that these shoes have a bad accident record. And the Wilderness House is aware of this. When we went into the store for a refund they would not give her a refund. they told her she had to either have a store credit or contact Dansko. They gave her some story that it was not within 30 days when we did go into the store in time . Being in the shoe business myself I would NEVER treat a customer the way my friend was treated. I would highly advise no one to shop at this store. they are nice to you until..... STAY AWAY !

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS STORE!. I would not shop ever at this store again. My mother was talked into buying 2 pairs of shoes. Cost $288.00. The store employers, not fitting her shoes correctly, she had a very bad fall.

The help miss guided my mom into buying the shoes. My mom got very hurt.

The owner would not even give my mother a refund back.

I recommend not to shop at this store!

Wilderness House...Love it!. This is one of my FAVORITE stores!...I can find things for myself and my daughters. Sweaters are the best, Jag jeans I love. Unique and stylin' tops are great and accessories that are fun! The customer service is superb! Check it out! We need this store!!!

Really Great Service. Great service and a terrific selection of Dansko shoes. Not too pushy, but very helpful. They wrapped my presents and seemed really happy to help me.
