We go to this Mexican restaurant often. Safe bet on quality food. The kids have a large selection to choose from and the atmosphere is loud and cheery.

My friends and I have been going to On The Border in Cary for over a year now and I must say the service is getting much better at On The Border in Cary. We have had a few different servers and some of them actually take the time to acknowledge that they recogize usThe waitstaff is very friendly and very concerned with the quality of our meal. If kitchen service is slow or something is incorrect they will fix it with out hesitation. Now the service is as good as the food.

There are many good Mexican restraunts in the Triangle area and On the Border is not one of them. The food is more of a Tex-Mex variety and not very good at that. For more authentic Mexican food I would recommend trying one of the family owned establishments in the area. The one saving component of the meal was the tortilla soup. That was very good.
