Terrible Service, unorganized.
My grandson lives in NC, just outside cary. they had advertised a 12 volt Quad on the web.
I tried to order it from the web, but that didn't work easily, so i called Customer service to order the quad. The woman at CS told me i couldn't order it because they didn't have any in stock at the warehouse, BUT it was in store in Cary. well i live in WIsconsin. So I asked CS (customer service) how i could pay for it and let my daughter pick it up there. OH MY GOD, that's the biggest joke on the face of the Earth. The person who has the credit card has to be there to pick up the item, well i said I'm like a good thousand miles away. I could go to the toys r us by me 915 minute drive) and pay there and let them get it in Cary. No dice. trying calling cary is what i was told, three days in a row over 4 hours total time waiting, i finally get some brain dead bimbo, that had no clue about policy etc. anyhow, she said hold one sec, i said wait, click and i was gone. I plan to write to corporate and advise them how to make a business work properly. sounds weird huh? I don't understand how one can send a gift across the USA and they can't figure a way to make it work, it's no wonder Toys R us is going downhill quicker than a tobaggon in wi in winter. SHAP UP and try target or some other place online, really really sad how things transpired. The lack of knowledge from everyone at CS, to the store to the web site. revamp and start all over again!
Poor Customer Service & No Price Matching Policy.
In today's economy you always have to try to be saavy about the purchases you make right? Well, I recently purchased a few PSP3 games for X-mas and I found out that each one is now $20 less at Target (bummer!) I decided to dig out my receipts and try to get a price adjustment ($40 will fill up my tank of gas). I purchased one of the games at Best Buy and another game I had purchased at Toys R Us.
Best Buy will do a price match (woo hoo!!!) but when I called Toys R Us that's when it became obvious why I won't shop there any longer....
1) For starters when I called I was was on hold for like 15 mins and was disconnected twice. The third time I called an obviously very unhappy employee answered the phone. It became very clear that my objective to understand their price matching policy was not her objective (which was to see how quickly she could dismiss my call). Not sure what Toys R Us's employee training is like, but I would assume that they would train employees on how to be curteous and professional. My guess is that this person might have been absent that day or went out for a long bathroom break when the customer service training class was offered.... I know that it is difficult to find high quality employees now a days, however it would seem to me that if Toys R Us wants to keep any business ensuring that all employees representing the company, exhibit company values would be a priority.
2) No Price Matching Policy- I know that it may be a hassel to shop around for the best price, but if you shop at Best Buy or Target or Walmart (Walmart can be hassel at times) they will do a price match if a few days later you are sickend to see something that you just purchased is significantly cheaper (Remember, You work hard for your $--don't throw it away!!!).
Perhaps my review won't improve Toy's R Us's customer Service nor the experience that shoppers will have, given that poor customer service reviews have been posted previously and the same problems continue to plague this toy retailer, but for what it's worth I feel better hopefully having someone read this and take their business elsewhere.
*****Lesson learned:I will ONLY shop at places that offer a price Matching policy AND offer good customer service (lets face it...No one really cares to offer GREAT customer Service anymore). Sorry Toys R Us..You DON"T stand a CHANCE!!
Horrible Store Manager. I've shopped at ToysRus for years I think everyone has been in the store at least once in their life. But what has made me never ever ever go to the store in Crossroads shopping center is the Store Manager Jennifer. I have never seen such as unhappy, unfriendly, utterly disrepectful person in my life. She did everything in her power to P--S ME OFF!!!! I will encourge you, your family and friends to shop elsewhere. At least until that hateful B---H is fired.
