Where water fans come for the boating, fishing and skiing; where teens park on hot summer nights.. In Short
Jordan has 12 recreation areas, all with boat ramps, and Crosswinds Marina, a boat-renting facility. Take a short hike to an observation platform in early morning or early evening to view bald eagles, who make their summertime home here. Ebenezer Church Trail offers two routes--each less than a mile long--with fabulous views into the reservoir area. Visitors can also stay the night at one of five campgrounds.

Great family fun!. A great place for family fun. Although I hear it can get crowded, it never has been when we've been there. We usually go to the Seaforth section. Nice, shady picnic tables with BBQ's if you want to use. Bathrooms close by. New playground equipment. Clean beach. Shallow water (great for young kids.) Life jackets free to use in both child and adult sizes. No food or drink allowed on beach... originally I was concerned, but it keeps the beach much cleaner and it's only a short walk to the picnic area where you can leave your cooler.

disorganized slop. First off - the water here is supposed to be tainted, if not polluted. So why fish or swim? Second, as a newcomer to the area, getting there was easy but navigating the lake was impossible. No maps or information available - only boat areas, no trails. I wanted to spend a relaxing afternoon at a lake and instead wound up driving around aimlessly searching for something better than a random sign here an there. What a waste.
