I took my dog Charlie to Town and Country boarding and he loves it. He's been to other boarding facilities in the area and Town and Country is heads above the rest. Charlie loves going and is so relaxed when he comes home. I would highly recommend T&C.
They are very nice to work with. Everyone has always been very friendly and accommodating. They took the best care of my dog when he was sick. They gave me pointers on how to continue with it once he came home.
I love the doctors here. They are absolutely wonderful. It's very convenient that the vet and the boarding services are connected. The service is exceptional.
Everyone is so professional and friendly. They go above and beyond, especially in times of grief.
I am a multi-pet household and I have 3 dogs and one cat. My 3 dogs are standard Poodles and I just have a domestic cat. They have seen a total of 2 other dogs that have passed away and 2 cats over the years so i have a long running experience with them. Dr. Ashford does a great job educating you which is a really nice aspect. He doesn't just go in and not give you the information. He explains everything and helps educate you on the health of your animals. He works in partnership with the pet owners and communicates well with the owners and the pets. Some vets just connect with the pets more than the owners and that is definitely not the case here.

Rude & incompetent - Avoid this place!.
I now live near by Town & Country and have several dogs I wanted to take there for basic care and any needs. I stopped by and spoke with staff about pricing and they said I would need to speak with a vet.? I found this to be surprising since it was basic care items; shots, teeth cleaning, check-up. So I called back later and waited... and waited...finally got the DVM on the phone - she then tells me to speak with the front desk!!??? Seems as if no -one there actually knows what is going on!! Called an old friend whom still works for the NCSU Vet school and told her my experience -she wasn't surprised! That Speaks Volumes......
The reviwer -Lorren1 must work there.
Really happy and pleased with the care my pets received. I recommend Town and Country to friends, family, and anyone new that moves into the neighborhood. In fact last summer my neighbor was having issues with there very elderly dog and he had dental issues. They tried another vet and were not very happy with the results so I sent them over to Town and Country. They ended up being very happy and pleased with the care that they received there.
Vets are good, other side not so. I'm very pleased with the Vets and the care my dogs have gotten at T&C vets. I have been a client for over a decade. However, I would never use the boarding/grooming side of this operation. They are separately owned and operated. I had my old doberman boarded there for 2 nights years ago. I used a harness for him since sometimes he needed some support walking on the leash. When I picked him up the harness was chewed to bits (which they presented to me) because they had never taken it off in 2 days. I would never take another dog there, but am very happy with the vet care side.
Best Vet Ever. I've been using T&C since 2001 and have always been very happy with the Vets. I recently had to let my 10yr old lab mix go due to canine cognitive disorder. Dr Ashford & Dr Groulx were both extremely helpful to me in making this difficult decision. When the time came, Dr Groulx could not have been more caring if he had been her own furry child. The entire staff is to be commended for their love of animals and I wouldn't take my other furry child anywhere else.
