Telephone Disconnected. I was given a Groupon as a gift, good through June 14, 2012. I called two numbers I found for them: (919) 846-7212, and (919) 844-7010. Both numbers are disconnected. I have had no response to an online inquiry. I'd give this ZERO stars, but that's not an option.
Stay Away. This was the worst massage I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and look else where.
Terrible!. Had Social Living coupon that I paid $50.00 for. Told me that had no appointments left before it expired in 4 days, and would not let me use it or extend it. I would have to pay the extra amount to get the orginal value. They were also rude. I certainly would not pay the full price for a "deal"l Seems like a scam to me!
Recently Reopened Under New Ownership and Management.
There are several negative reviews on the internet for good reason. Many client relationships were completely mismanaged under the previous ownership and administration. The spa was abruptly closed in mid to late November and clients were not informed about the closing. To say the least, it's unfortunate that customers were mistreated in this way.
The spa reopened under new ownership and management in late December 2011and we are proud to say that everything has changed. We value our clients and are committed to customer service. Additionally, all outstanding Groupon and Living Social vouchers are being honored through their respective expiration dates. Feel free to visit our website for current promotions and monthly specials. If you give the New Watu Wazuri Massage Experts a try, you will not be disappointed.
This place is a TOTAL JOKE, stay away friends!. I learned to be wary of Groupon and Living Social deals. This is the strangest experience I've ever had. From the therapist cancelling appointments to lack of anyone to ever answer the phone, I'm pretty sure it's all one big scam and there doesn't seem to be any intention of rendering services. You are better off paying for a real massage with a real person. On my last appointment everyone who worked there was on their way out the door complaining that they were all fired. No phone call to me or anything. These folks won't be in "business" for long.

Unprofessional customer service, mediocre massage.
I bought a living social 3 month membership with Watu Wazuri, 3 90-min massages plus a $25 gift card, for $88.
My first massage was uneventful and unmemorable. It wasn't awful but it wasn't good. it was ok. for $30, can't complain.
my problem with watu wazuri was my 2nd appmt. i scheduled it for 11-14. Watu Wazuri cancelled it 3 weeks prior b/c they decided to close every mon and tues. i rescheduled for 11-18. They called 11-12 and left a message cancelling that same appmt again b/c a staff member quit.
I attempted to call them 11-14 during their business hours. I attempted to call them 4 times, always went to answering machine. Attempted to call them 11-15, they were closed. I left a message to call me to discuss rescheduling my appmt.
I received an auto email that evening stating that my appmt had been moved to a different day. I had not left any indication in my message that this day would work for me. I called 11-16 and left a polite but slightly aggravated message requesting a live person call me 11-17 to discuss my appmt as moving it to a different day without my permission or input wasn't acceptable. I also stated that cancelling the same appmt twice was unprofessional. I left my cell phone number so they could reach me.
On 11-17, at 4pm, I had not received any calls on my cell phone. I called them. On the 5th attempt, I reached a live person rather than their voicemail. She told me that they didn't have any open appmts 11-17 or 11-18, and that i was scheduled with a male masseuse. I told her this is why i wanted to speak to someone, to discuss when my schedule would allow me to come back in, and to discuss a gender preference for my masseuse. She merely stated again that they had no openings. She did not apologize for my 2 cancelled appmts, not calling me back, or not answering the phone. She wasn't rude, she simply didn't care.
It's hard enough for me to find time for a massage given that I work full time. Trying to find time twice was bad, having it randomly rescheduled without even consulting me is just ludicrous.
If Watu Wazuri doesn't value my time, I won't waste any of it on them.
Their voicemail message, by the way, states twice that they are the home of the beautiful people. It's amusing the first time you hear but after the 10th time, it's just pretentious.
I'd like to think that by leaving them a negative review, they'll start to treat their customers a little better. The beautiful people can start by answering the phones during their business hours.
Dyamic Massage & Atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage at Watu Wazuri. The therapists and staff was very friendly and despite the fact of being a Living Social customer, I was treated with dignity and respect. I am purchasing a membership and would recommend this place to ALL!!!!
