Joey has been doing my hair for over 2 years. He has me on a regular, VERY affordable schedule which keeps my hair under control. He has never been anything but professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He takes his job seriously and is very attentive to his clients wants and needs. I have never had any hesitation in recommending him to friends and family.

Joey is a hair magician. I see Joey at Salon 54 (now located at Falls River). He has taken my lifelong unruly, uncontrollable, frightening masses of hair and made it straight, smooth, soft, and manageable.

After years of hair "professionals" being dismayed at the amount of hair on my head and it's incredible thickness and curliness, I decided to have a consultation with Joey as a last ditch attempt for some control. It was the best thing I've ever done. He was knowledgeable and confident (and not the fake kind). I felt good about doing the Japanese straightening. You should see the before and after pictures! They are amazing. Go to the website, look it over, ask to see my pictures (I'm Laura).

My 5 year old daughter now sees him (she has the same exact hair issues I had). My cousin sees him as well. If he ever retires, I will have to shave my head and wear a wig (I've done it before).

If you are looking for someone who can do all types of hair from your very thin to your very "ethnic" Joey is the man.

I just had the worst most scariest experience of my life in your hair salon, Joe, who was not a little bit professional, burnet my hair, made it 10 times worst than what I came in the salon with, I had a dry hair, and I went for keratin treatment, which he told me would make my hair look better, instead it made it lookd 10 times worst if not more, half way I started noticing my hair bcoming so bad looking like bunch of hays, I started to bring it to his attention, thats why he started getting little by little ugly, instead of fixing the problem, he started using the F word and the S word on me, my hair, my hair colour, my previous styliest, he got so bad and disrespectfull i refused to continue, and god up, he cornered me threatned me to pay him, I was the only client in the salon as it was on sunday, special appointment, I handed him my credit card he charged it and I just ran out before he could hurt me, I thought he would seriously hurt me.

I should have known somthing was wrong, the way he answered the phone the first time,this is my first time in this salon, he told me not to buy the online coupon and just go straight to him, he would give me the same price.

this is illeagal, I should probably call the police as well.
