I've gotten so many compliments on my hair!!. First I must start by stating I have had many many stylist in my life and despite spending hundreds of dollars my hair was still in a state of distress... Until I met Colleen. I found out about Style and Elegance Designers in a desperate move to never return to my then hairstylist (searching the internet). Colleen returned my message promptly and I set up an appointment (this was two years ago and I've been returning ever since) I was wearing decent weaves but my natural hair under was anything but. My hair was completely damaged and distressed. Colleen offered me a consultation about the current state of my hair (which need I mention again...AWFUL). The first rule of business was the health of my hair. Next she gave me the best weave and hairstyle I've ever had! ( I had been seeing stylist for extensions for years!!) I never had so many compliments on my hair! She is not only friendly but professional in every meaning of the word. I really could go on forever. I have referred friends who are always more than pleased with Colleens services. Do yourself and your hair a favor and Contact her today! =)

I must say that I am very particular when it comes to my hair; and after MANY disappointments with other stylists, my search has ended! Colleen truly cares about the general health of your hair (as I have issues with thinning); so much so that she recommended that I see a dermatologist BEFORE my first appointment. Truly the professional, she is informative and knowledgeable about hair, not just the styling of the hair. If you are tired of searching, do yourself a favor and call Colleen!

Excellent Service from Colleen. Collleen is one of very few professional, attentive, and on time hair stylist working in the industry today. I rank her as one of the best weave artists and stylists in the Raleigh area. She also works well with natural hair. Her shop is beautiful and clean.. Never have I had an appointment and there were other clients waiting to be seen. When you book an appointment, you can be sure that you wil be seen as soon as you arrive. Colleen also styles my high school daughter's hair. My daughter absolutely loves her. Give Colleen a call. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. One more point to add. Colleen educates you while she is doing you hair and she always promotes healthy hair care.

Colleen is the real deal !!!!. She is professional, attentive, timely and knows how to get the job done !!! If you are tired of endless waits at other hair salons.! interesting odors, noise and all other forms of unpleasant distractions, U need to go see Colleen. Her studio is very clean, she can work your hair whether it's straight natural or in between. Weaves, twists, perms U name it. She is also particular about the health of your hair in general. Seriously , try her. She is worth your while and your dollars !!!!

Colleen is a great stylist!!!. I relocated to Raleigh from Hartford, CT 3 years ago and went through 6 stylists before I found Colleen last year. My hair is natural and I had been getting it pressed and flat ironed for several years.

Everyone thinks they can "handle it" because they initially see it in its straightened form until it gets wet and then they seem confused. Needless to say they fell short of their promises.

Colleen had years of experience with natural hair and a pressing comb and has been able to produce a fantastic result at every appointment.

Colleen puts a smile on my face every time!!!. I just have to say that Colleen is AMAZING when it comes to my hair. And let me tell you, I have been around the block when it comes to hairdressers. Colleen is not even in a category with any of the others. She works wonders. I am half white half Puerto Rican with very thin damaged curly hair. I have had her do a full weave in my hair, and people have NEVER been able to tell that it was not my own hair. You can spend 3 days in the mirror trying to find the closure and it won't happen. I have also had her cut my natural hair and dye it from jet black to a medium brown with blonde highlights, and it was so beautiful and totally healthy, after. Plus it was cut into a bob and I walked out of there, looking like Victoria Beckham. You can read all of her wonderful reviews, but just go get a consultation with her and let her be your "Hair Angel."

Colleen is the best!. I moved to the Raleigh area in 2007 and needed a stylist as good as my girl in San Diego. Well, I found her in Colleen! I love that she can do any service on any hair type. I am biracial with long, baby-fine hair and she makes the most of what I've got. Her cuts and highlights are so good that I can go months without a touch-up. Colleen's prices are reasonable and she is always up on what's new. I definately recommend her for anyone who is looking for something special at a moderate price.

Best stylist in Raleigh, NC. I moved to NC in 2003. Of course, being a woman, you want to find a stylist which either compares to the one from home or better. It took me 5 years and about 5 stylists to find Colleen. She is great! You think when you find a stylist on the internet; it may be someone who says they can "do hair". When I first spoke to Colleen, she was very confident in her work. When I went for my first appointment with her, I was confident and convinced she could "do hair". Colleen has done my weaves, regular styles and now, she has my hair in its "natural" state. I love it! I would recommend Colleen to anyone with or without hair. She will make a difference for you.

Colleen is very professional and her studio is clean. She makes sure you are comfortable during your appointment and she is timely when she schedules your appointment. I always know when I arrive at the studio; I will be in the shampoo bowl very soon. I know this is the stylist I will remain with until I leave NC. She is awesome!!!

Best Stylist I've Found. I have been in Raleigh since 2001 and I can't tell you how many salons I've visted. It is very hard to find someone who not only knows what they're doing but is also professional. Colleen has both of those qualities. I always leave satisfied. I've had several sewn-ins done by her, and I've loved each one. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Great Stylist and Customer Service. I’ve had various styles performed by Colleen. She has completed several of my sewn ins, dyed my hair, cut my hair and my blow outs. I’m always satisfied with the work that she does and her customer service is superb. My hair is natural and she does an excellent job assisting me in care. This lady is awesome she can do it all and the most important thing “she does it well”. I keep my sewn ins for about 2 months and have my hair wash every two weeks. Best stylist in Raleigh!!!!!!!
