I'd give 5 stars but I just got my cut yesterday and it takes a couple days to be sure if I like the outcome. But Nancy and Amy were really nice and gave me really special treatment for a really good price. I didn't get any color or special style, just a trim with a conditioning treatment (on special). Customer service and price are really important to me since all I usually want is a little off the ends.

Nancy (owner) is a go-getter and wants the business to succeed by focusing on what people really want and being open to all people in Raleigh. The salon is easy to get to, it's definitely worth a try if you're looking for a place.

Oil-based highlights do not cause breakage, turn brassy, or dry the hair. Try some at Sweet T today!

I love Nancy and Wendy. My husband and I both go to Nancy to get our haircut. We live in Durham, but make the trip down to Raleigh to Sweet T because Nancy does such a great job. I don't think that I have ever had a better cut. I had been trying to grow my hair out for years and my hair really did not start growing until I started getting my haircut from Nancy. Plus, everyone always complemented my haircuts.

Also, I love getting my nails done by Nancy and I have had loads of compliments from people on my nails that get their nails done elsewhere. They have said that my nails look better and more natural than theirs. Also, since going to Wendy, this is the first time that I have not had chipped nails or wearing at the tip of the nails since I am on the computer all day long.

I would and do highly recommend this salon.

Don't bother, just a lot of talk. I was really excited to try out this new salon as they really seemed to pride themselves on their blonding system. Needless to say I was not impressed with how my color turned out. It wasn't terrible, but I didn't love it and it wasn't worth the price tag.The high lights were not well done and my color looked grown out less than a week after it was done. I even had my color root re done, only to be dissapointed yet again when they only tried to cover up the problem by putting a couple more foils near where I parted my hair, when really they should have re-done my whole head. Yes the staff was friendly, but I ended up paying $180 for my service and now 3 weeks later I already need to have my hair done again. It shouldn't take a salon 3 tries in order to produce me with a finished product I like. The salon really tried to sell their product and brag about being raleigh's best kept secret..not so much. I was told that with their new blonding product I wouldn't need to use purple toning shampoo because their forulma was just " so great". When I had called back and complained that I was already going brassy Nancy put the blame on me for not using purple shampoo. I also wish that the person that did my hair would have noticed thefirst time around that his work was not done well and would have spoken up, rather than me having to call back and complain. and take even more time to go back and have it re done.I will not be going back here and would advise others not to as well.

Amazing Salon. Such a great salon!! Nancy, Wendy, and the rest of the staff are so friendly. I have very processed hair that used to be damaged but after having Nancy do my highlights it feels amazing. I used to get the Brazilian straightening treatment at other salons for 300+ dollars but I don't need to do it any more thanks to the conditioning highlighting product they use at this salon. Also, my nails have never looked better...they are actually growing thanks to Wendy :)

Great place for a haircut. Was there last week & Rosa did exactly as I asked - it's so nice when people listen & provide great customer service! A very nice & professional staff - definitely going back!

Great Salon, Great Staff. I have been to this salon many times within the past you walk in and you feel so welcome there! Everyone is so pleasant and helpful and really make your experience there awesome. Melinda has been highlighting my hair and there color system is amazing and my hair looks so good afterwards! I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND RACIST!!!. I had the most horrible experince at this salon. I am a black woman. I have naturally curly and long hair. You could say I'm very attractive and I think that's why I had issues. I ended up having several people working on my hair which was Rosa, Jessica and the gay guy Tyler. Rosa never washed my hair or dried it good. I like curls and she really didn't want to blow it out and curl it even though normally it take people about 1 hour and 15 to do my fine hair. Its not thick at all. I would still have a flaky scalp when I came out of that salon. Roas finally burned my scalp one day after informing me that usually she rolled up her clients hair not use a curling iron. It would take her 3 hours to do my hair. IT was ridiculous. One day I decided to let Jessica do it and she was way too rough on my hair. I felt on purpose. Rosa had Tyler wash my hair one time also and he was rough. I have curly hair and he used a brush rather than a comb to comb it out. He also made a some nasty little comment about if I had combed it or something. The guy is a complete looser. I asked The owner Nancy for all of my money back after Rosa burned my scalp on purpose after calling me a a princess because I didn't want my hair rolled up. Noone has rolled my hair in 20 years. What the hell? Just say you don't like black women who are pretty with a career. Anyway she refused so this is why I'm telling my side of the story. Nancy is a smiling bitch. Trust her as far as you can throw her. I find people that smile fakely all the time are fake. No one's that damn happy. She is covering up unhappiness. Her man won't marry her and she is a miserable childless bitch. Her mother works there. The woman is pure evil. I just never got a good feeling about her. They would almost demand I get my nails done there. Who does that? Tell me one time, don't keep telling me and getting a attitude cause I don't. ANother female owned salon ran by batshit crazy hormone induced women who don't have nothing better to do than pick on a woman they are intimidated by. Yes Nancy said I was confident pretty and intimidating to her. What the hell? Get out of business and go the home. Money is money and you Nancy you made a big mistake. You can't treat people like this and I hope Karma bites you in your nonexistent ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When a customer ask for their money back after your stylist burn them then give it them. Very dumb move on your part. You had Tyler look at my scalp. We did take a picture of it. We have proof. Great Team. I had a wonderful experience with Nancy, Tyler & Amy. My experience started out with a groupon fiasco but Nancy fixed everything. Nancy gave me excellent advice on highlighting my hair so that I had a natural red outcome. Then Nancy & Tyler worked together highlighting my hair and Amy gave me a styling cut. They were very generous with their time, advice and energy. When they became aware of a time crunch I was under, they all pitched in to finish me up as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Sweet T Salon to anyone.

They LISTENED to me and did a wonderful job. I got warm and considerate service from Nancy and Amy - they listened to me and consulted with me regarding both the color and the cut I wanted. Amy did my hair and checked with me throughout her work to be sure we were on the same page.

The end result is fantastic. I have beautiful blonde hair with no gray and plenty of depth to the color. And the cut is the best I've ever had - long layers - that Amy showed me how to style at home.

My last hair dresser always thought she knew best what I needed. Nancy and Amy worked WITH me to give me what I needed and WANTED (fabulous hair).

Oh, and my husband and sons all go there, too!
