WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Wondering why?

1) I got a Keratin hair treatment done last week. Trust me when I say this - my hair did not change at all!!! I basically just wasted $100 (I had a groupon) They did put in something, flat ironed it etc, but I'm guessing they use fake products or something. Dont know if it was only me jus cos I had a groupon or everybody else. But it is definitely fake. My hair is very much the same.

2) The hair stylist was very harsh with my hair, she had another appointment after mine. She just hurried up with mine and handled my hair very roughly.

3) The receptionist was very rude!!!

If you ask me, DO NOT GO HERE. Even after the groupon, you might think its cheap so lets give it a try...DONT! I just wasted my $100, please dont do the same mistake.

Skip this place.... I recently went to Tyler Day Salon for the first time, and was not too impressed with their customer service. I found that the receptionist was a little rude. I thought that maybe she was having a bad day or that maybe it was because I was a first-time client, but she didn't even say thank-you when I paid and was ready to leave. I didn't even feel like leaving a tip, but I did since the stylist was ok. Overall, it was not the best experience or even the best haircut for a salon that is a little pricey, and I will not be a repeat customer!

Outstanding Salon with Amazing Service. Tyler Day Salon is hands-down the best salon in the Holly Springs/Fuquay area. Their prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is modern and fun, and the customer service is amazing.

I've taken my entire family there for over two years now and have always been delighted with the stylists and the results of their work.

With three kids, it's important for me to be organized, and their receptionist is always helpful when I want to book our appointments out months in advance...which is definitely recommended as the calendar year wraps up.

The Bet Salon Ever. I love Tyler Day Salon. When I go in there, I feel like I am part of the family. I have been with Joan for over two years and she has become a great friend. My hair always looks great and the prices are comparable to other salons. I trust her with my daughter's hair and she takes the time to understand our needs. In addition, the front desk personal always great us and shower us with a drink and smile every time. Nida is always there to say hello along with Shannon. All of them do incredible jobs. The service is excellent, the product (hair, nails) is always beyond expectations, and the people keep me coming back for more. I have to note that I have never been with anyone more than 6 months which says alot. I have never left disappointed and my hair looks fabulous. Go check them out!!!

I Absolutely Love this Salon!. I have been going here for a couple of years now and I love it! Joan is amazing and I couldn't imagine anyone else doing my hair. She is down to earth, fun and understands what I want. She is one of the sweetest and kindest people that I have met. After I started going to see Joan I recommended that my Mom see her as well, and she agree's she will not see another stylist. Going to anyone else would be like cheating on Joan.

They recently remodeled the salon and it looks fantastic! The entire staff here is excellent and friendly, but I have to say I am partial to Joan :)

Loyal Customer - Love it!. I have been going to Tyler Day Salon (formally Mane Street Hair) for over two years. I go just about every 6 - 8 weeks to get a two color foil highlight from Joan. She is A-MAY-ZING!!! Love her and I literally will work my schedule around when she is available. She has a great personality and always goes the extra mile to make sure I leave feeling great. The salon looks awesome since the new owners took over as well. I highly recommend Joan for your highlights, color and cut.

Worst Customer Service OF MY LIFE. Let me start by saying I do like the way my highlights turned out. That unfortunately was the only positive part of my experience at Tyler Day Spa. I have been the victim of worse customer service in my life, nor have I had stylists call me “shady” and a liar to my face, and talk badly about me to other stylists while I was still in the salon. From the moment my appointment with Joan began, I felt like an unwelcomed burden. She repeatedly said she didn’t have time to do what I asked, despite the fact that I had called earlier in the week to change my appointment from partial foils to full foils. Nida, who was filling in at the front desk when I checked out, was incredibly defensive when I tried to explain how I was using my Groupon, even after I showed her the website that clearly explained what was available, and what I had discussed with the owner before my appointment began. Even with the website in front of her, she didn’t believe what I was telling her and wouldn’t let me explain without getting upset. I left salon feeling aggravated, upset, and frustrated, not excited and happy like one normally would after receiving a great new look. Consider the content of their website: “I pour my passion into making my clients feel welcomed into the salon and leave feeling their best!” “…service in a warm and friendly, family-oriented environment. We believe our clientele to be the most valuable people to us in our profession. Our clients are all treated with respect, honesty, and integrity and we always strive to exceed their overall expectations,” “We base our success on our positive attitudes towards… our clients,” “I am committed to making my clients look and feel their best!” My experience fell extremely short of these claims and I was severely disappointed with the time I spent at the salon. The point of the Groupon was to attract new clients, not to berate and personally attack them. Tyler Day Spa is not a place I will be recommending or returning to.

I Have A New Stylist!. I reluctantly decided to try this place for several reasons: it is close to my house, prices were reasonable, and I didn't want to travel to another city where I normally get my hair done (over an hour away).

I chose my stylist, Shannon, based on other reviews, NOTHING else.

The previous reviewers were right. She does know what she is doing, and is AWESOME at cutting and styling bi-racial hair, which is not too common in my experience.

Very pleased and will definitely be back. No more long drives to get my hair done. Very happy with my experience! Great hair cut, style (she listened to what I wanted and didn't get "scissor crazy" ......and it didn't break the bank!

I LOVE my hair!. I absolutely love this place! My old stylist moved away about a year ago and I was very reluctant to try someone new. I am so glad that I found Joan!!! She's been doing my families hair for the past year and we have always gotten EXACTLY what we wanted. My boys are teenagers and they are extremely picky about their hair. They've never left unhappy- which is a plus for me since I don't have to hear about it the whole way home! I have my hair colored and cut and she does a WONDERFUL job every time! She's very stylish and I love the products that she uses!

Been going for years, consistently fantastic service!!!. I have been going to this salon for years. I always leave super happy with my hair!! The atmosphere is friendly and fun. I send everyone I know to see Shannon and they always thank me. Shannon is awesome, and I would never let anyone else touch my hair!!!
