Excellent Value & Great Family Fun!
by Mommy 3 at Citysearch
Our entire family had a wonderful time! What a great value for a day out with the kids! All the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great time! We had so much fun we will be back again this season. Be sure to take the cow train ride. It's even fun for adults!
Absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend this to anyone with children who are looking for a great place to take the whole family and enjoy a day of fun activities for an amazing price! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and will be visiting again. My kids loved the decorations, especially the fake head, we took pictures with it!

Phillips Farms is a wonderful place to go and very friendly and great overall. I loved all of the halloween decorations and they were all great for taking pictures with the ones by the maize and the ones at the concessions. The staff at the farm is wonderful all so friendly and willing to make sure there customers have a great time while there. The owner was great he was out walking around talking with the customers and making sure they were enjoying themselves which it is not hard to do at Phillips Farms. I will deffinetly tell all my friends and family about this place because I think it is so wonderful and outgoing place to be at. The hayride and cowtrain are great I just loved them. This is one great place. If you are looking for a fun family day deffinetly go to Phillips Farms you will have a blast and all ages enjoy it as well. Overall a GREAT PLACE TO BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't want to give the one star, but I don't think I have an option. Anyone who gives the place 5 stars has not been to any of the other Mazes in the area.
My mother's group arrived today at 1pm to take our little guys out before it got crowded and dark. (They have a haunted corn maize in the evening). I noticed that near the concession stand there was a severed head mask with a steak running through it with scary eyes and teeth, with blood coming from the top where the steak goes through its skull. I asked the guy running the concession stand if he would remove it so that it wouldnt scare the little kids and school/daycare groups that were there. His anwser to me was "Why?" (with an attitude) He went on to say that other kids like it and walk up and laugh. I told him that my 4 year old would definilty be scared of that. His anwser was "No" that he would not move it.
I went over to find someone else that worked there to find out where the owner or manager was....apparantly the 21 year old with the bad attitude WAS THE OWNER! So I went back over there and told him I was very dissapointed with his attitude, he continued to argue that it was Halloween and those things were ok. I told him that we came out here for family fun to experience the pumkin patch and that if I wanted to scare my kids I would have come in the evening for the haunted tour. After all this, he said he would take it down. AFTER ABOUT 5 MIN HE PUT IT BACK UP!! I tried to hide it from my little guy but he did see it, he said "Yuck!" I didn't say anything, just walked fast and left. On the way out of the parking lot, he said "why does this palce have such scary stuff?" I said "don't worry buddy, next time we'll go to a family farm."
So, if youer looking for a good place, try Vollmer Farm, it is well worth the extra drive and the family is AMAZING!

My husband and I took our 6 children ages 20 months to 14 years and ALL had a blast! My oldest was skeptical at first but was finally lured by the cow train! It was tons of fun and thrilling ( and not just for the weak at heart!). The staff was super friendly and accomodating. Our family will be returning for more Fall fun this year and in those to come!
