I came here about a month ago when I heard they remove tattoos. I’d gone to a few other plastic surgery centers for prices and the Skin Institute was the best price I came across. I scheduled an appointment and after undergoing just two laser treatments the results are incredible. I highly recommend this place. The staff is hilarious and explained everything thoroughly before they did anything.
I have had very good results from the pixel laser. My skin is in much better shape after 6 treatments. I also appreciate the staff and how they work to get things right the first time. I'm a believer for sure!!
Terrific!.
After struggling with acne all my life (in my 30s), finally someone provided an effective treatment.
The medications prescribed combined with TSI's acne treatments have finally cleared up my skin. I have been extremely happy with the results and continue to go to them regularly to keep my acne under control.
Thanks TSI!
Great place!. Wow! The medical team there are great and very knowledge. I had a PA treat me for my skin afflication and with a week, I saw results. There are other issues that have bothered me in the past, that I didnt think I could do anything about, that she pointed out to me, and BAM! she is treating those too...some under my insurance and some that are cosmetic. I appericate that they pointed out the difference.
good enough for me!.
I am a simply person, with simple needs...what I like about this place is that they really try to get it right...(the first time).
They service a vareity of people: I have had friends go and get skin cancers removed; I have had friends go to get botox and I have gone to get my acne taken care of.
Point is: Its a doctor's office...and its a busy place 9some days more so then others)...the most I have every had to wait is 30 mins (most time its 5-10) and I get my needs meet.
I gave them 4 stars...because they are not perfect...but they do the best they can (which I can say is better than other offices I have been too)
If you are tired of dealing with skin care issues or has someone in need of tryng their acne and you want your insurance to cover it...then head to The Skin Institute in Apex...ps construction is done and the place looks great!
We are pleased that you are pleased with The Skin Institue!
We look forward to treating all your skin care needs.
Very Pleased. Just had my second visit to The Skin Institute last week. Yes, they are doing some construction but it is because this place is so popular they needed to expand! Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. My skin is already looking better. I am so happy I found them after seeing countless dermatologists who just kept giving me antibiotics and not helping at all.
Totally AVOID this PLACE! SUCKS!!!.
My rate n this place is ZERO. People there was rude and obnoxious. From the RN to the front desk. They have no doctors there. If I want to go to a dermatology place I want see the doctor. Not the PA or RN.
I have a Bachelor's in nursing so I want to talk to a real dermatologist. WHen I call they told me was a dr consultation, when I got there was something else.
The doctor is just to sign the charts for the insurance claims.
I hated this place. I will look for a real dermatology place today. Just wasted my time and $.
You could see the $$$ signs on people's face there. Plus, the place was all dust and not organized.
That's my two cents!
Thank you for your "two cents".The Skin Institute strives to meet our clients needs. If you have felt your needs were not meet, Dr. Ajmani would love to discuss with you how he could further improve his office, to best service his patients in the future.
Dr. Ajmani sees patients at this location quite frequently.
At present, we are under construction, there has been a bit of extra dust, then one would like... Construction will conclude by the end of this week.
The Skin Institute's free consults are provided by the provider on staff at that moment the consulst occurs. Typically the RN will get a history for the provider, then provide that data to the medical provider. We never schedule doctor only visits with a PA or NP, nor do we tell you over the phone that your visit will be with a doctor if you are on the PA or NP schedule. We are sorry that you felt your visit did not go as planned!
Great place for all skincare needs. I have been going to the skin institute for approximately 9 months. Greatest place to go to treat acne and roscea. My face was beet red, had a lot of pre cancerous lesions on my face and bad scarring. I have just lived with it because the topical ointments never worked for me that I got from the dermatogist. The scarring got worse as I got older. I had chemical peels, micodermabrasion done nothing worked as good as the blue light therapy and the smoothbeam laser for the scarring. My face is no longer red, lived with it being red for the last several years just thought it was a natural part of aging and working in the sun. They have helped me a lot, the best part is it is paid by insurance if you have a skin condition. I only have to pay a small co-pay when I go in. They also sell kinerase, peter roth and glo minerals makeup. They are all professional and always on time. I only had to wait once over 30 min and I was going twice a week. This place is a godsend for me. I will be bringing my son soon so he doesnt have to suffer like I have all these years with acne. Wished I had discovered this place when they first opened.
Love this place!!!. My son and I have been going to the Skin Institute since it opened and I am very happy with the services we have received. My yson was having problems with his face which we had been seeing a dermatologist for with no results. After visiting here his face looks great and he loves going (which has been a challenge in the past since he is 12 yrs old). Personally, I enjoy the fact that they offer a large menu of services; laser, massages, botox, facials and more. Thanks to everyone at The Skin Institute, I don't know what we would do without you.
review of skin institute. I can't say enough good things about this place. About a year ago I went off birth control and my face exploded with cystic acne. It was horrible. I lacked health insurance so I first tried a holistic doctor (advanced health care solutions) and he put me on "bioidentical hormones." Maybe these are good for menopause but I was 28 and they were horrible. I spent a lot of money there and had a horrible experience. I went around another 4-6 months with horrible acne and then tried the skin institute. I did a lot of research first and went into the consultation telling them I wanted the smoothbeam laser. I was wondering if I could afford it and they gave me a huge discount since I didn't have health insurance. I just finished my fourth treatment and my face is like 98% clear. They said I could keep getting the laser treatments for maintenance if I need them. I will warn you that it will not clear you overnight but it does work. No side effects. I also got one face peel but I didn't get all the other stuff they recommend which probably helps a lot but I can't afford. They are all very nice, give you free samples, and at my last appointment the women even gave me a free laser treatment that is suppose to help more with the scarring. They did cancel my appointment once but seriously people get sick. Every other time I have gone in they usually take me in a few minutes early. The advanced care health solutions place was completely opposite-about 45 minutes late. Seriously give them a try if you have bad acne. It is quicker, safer, and cheaper than accutane.
THANK YOU!!!
