game fun. We went here to watch the fight and it was so much fun! A lot of people came out there for the fight and it set up a fun environment to watch the fight. We tried the ribs and those were messy but really good. Their onion rings are good too and I'm a picky onion ring eater.

Food & Atmosphere. Try the ribs!! I went to Backyard Bistro looking for something comfortable and reasonable on my wallet. It was exactly what i was looking for. In addition to the great food, i was able to watch the TVs they have many of in clear view. This restaurant is not going anywhere.

WOW!!. The ribs are amazing! I went here for an after work get together and ended up ordering the ribs. They were some of the best ribs Ive had in a while and at a great price. Definitely going back to try the other food on the menu

So so food with terrible waiters. I decided for my birthday I wanted to try something new. I had heard a lot about Backyard Bistro, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. We left pretty disappointed.

I had the Backyard Buzzard (BBQ chicken). My wife had the burger. We split an order of onion rings for an appetizer. The portions are gigantic! Too bad it is large portions of forgetable food - not bad food, just nothing better than you could get at an average chain restaurant.

The low point of the meal came when our waitress turned around and slammed into another waiter who was carrying a pitcher of water. The pitcher dropped to the ground and broke and I was splashed with water.

I never got an apology. No one even checked to see if my wife and I, or the people at the tables around us were hurt by any of the shards of shattered plastic. Our waitress just looked at me and said "looks like you got wet there."

It is a real shame there aren't any restaurants closer to the RBC Center. This place doesn't deserve all of the business it will be getting on game nights.

Awesome place, great food, good service. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first because I was routinely disappointed by Damon's (the previous restaurant at this location). After my visit to Backyard Bistro last week, I can hardly wait to go back. A friend told me about the ribs, so I gave them a try. I've had the ribs at The Pit, The Q Shack, and several other of the top local BBQ joints. None of these places can touch the Backyard Bistro. I got the ribs and few beers....the tab was reasonable. There are huge TV's everywhere, the staff was friendly and, best of all, the place is directly across from the RBC Center. Everyone cheers and yells when a local team is playing. Its really a great experience and I would receommend it to anyone.

Great atmosphere and staff - food too. I like Backyard Bistro because it is just that - feels as comfy as home cook out - but the food is great and staff is awesome. I had a great time - did not spend a fortune and so enjoyed my meal. Cant wait to eat here before every show and Canes game. Why battle traffic when I can get here early enought to have a couple of drinks, good meal and fun too!

AWESOME RIBS!!!. Been here several times since they opened in April, and they are constantly improving with new menu items -- seems like everytime I go in, there is something new to tempt my palate. The Ribs are Hands Down the Best in Raleigh -- meaty and juicy with just enough smoke flavor. Service staff is freindly and outgoing and even remember my name!

Cool Building, Terrible Food. For this place to be labeled a "bistro" is a sin. Waitress was nice, busboy was creepy. Whatever you do, don't order the beef brisket, it looked like it had been shoveled out of a trough and put on my plate, it was COVERED in generic BBQ sauce to the point that i felt like i was drinking a glass of BBQ sauce. While on the other hand the wings were as dry as the napkin. Maybe a good place to watch sports, but definitely not the place to please your palate.
