Good Food/Good Service. The menu had a lot of variety and uniqueness and the food was absolutely delicious. It's an awesome atmosphere when there is a game going on. The servers were friendly and provided good service. Price was good for what you get. I've already been back numerous of times!

Fantastic Food & Service. My boyfriend and I dined at the Backyard Bistro before the NCState/Duke game last night. The service was incredible and the food was delicious. Not to mention how fast we recieved our food. I witnessed outstanding teamwork amongst all of their servers. The restaurant was packed and they still managed to do an excellent job. Thank you for making our experience a great one. We will tell our friends and we will be back soon!!!

Our Favorite Restaurant. The Backyard Bistro is our family's favorite restaurant. Everything on the menu is great. I like to get the hamburgers. When I bite into the hamburger, the meat bursts with juices, it is unbelievable how fresh it is. You can taste the excellent quality of the meat. And the french fries are the best I have ever had. My family of four has eaten almost everything on the menu. The ribs are so good and they actually fall of the bone. I also like the homemade potato salad. It is all made fresh and you can taste it. My children get the kid's meals and they are made just like the regular menu items. The kid's meal portion sizes are so big my 10-year-old can't finish her cheeseburger. We also like to customize the hamburgers with extra swish cheese and bacon. I recently have gotten the carrot cake and the blue berry cobbler. Get the blue berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. When the heat of the blue berry cobbler meets the cold of the vanilla ice cream it is unbelievable. They are the best I have ever had anywhere. The service is friendly and the owner greets you at your table. We go to Backyard Bistro anytime, but it is especially fun to go before or after a Carolina Hurricanes game or any other event at the RBC Center across the street. Here is a true story. My 5-year-old, given a choice of anywhere to eat for her birthday, picks the Backyard Bistro because she loves the macaroni and cheese. She picks this restaurant over Chuck E. Cheese's. What else needs to be said. Go to the Backyard Bistro it is Our Favorite Restaurant.

Great Place! Always here. I love the backyard bistro. My friends and I frequent the restaurant all the time because I live right up the street. I have never had greasy fries and the servers and bartenders are always very friendly. Joe, the owner, tries very hard to please every single customer. I wonder if any of these people brought up any of these issues with the servers or management. The bistro wouldn't have a cult following if it wasn't so good! Try the critical violation or the taco salad... you won't be disappointed.

Don't Bother Eating Here. You'd think with their proximity to the RBC, they'd try harder to offer good food/service. Instead they act like they're the "only game" in town. OK place to stop in for a beer, but don't wait for a table. I've never gotten good food or good service here. FYI - when I figured out what "geminitwin," another reviewer, was talking about, I just about fell out. Google "Sam Kinison Dr Ruth Grilled Cheese" to see what a Backyard Bistro Poppie Burger has in common with Dr Ruth. I guarantee you'll never eat a Backyard Bistro burger (or a grilled cheese sandwich) again...

Awful - Name Should Be "Back Alley Bistro"!!. Food is mediocre & overpriced, service is lackluster, management's attitude is worse. Mystery BBQ (not Carolina/not Memphis - what is that swimming in bottled BBQ sauce??) When I looked at their online menu, the picture of the "Big Poppie" Burger reminded me of Sam Kinnison's bit about Dr. Ruth (you'll have to google it - too disgusting to mention here...)

Food is not that great.. Went to the Backyard Bistro for the very first time over the holidays. I am not impressed. I would have liked to think that the food would be good, given the fact that the atmosphere is for people to stay, hang around have a few beers, etc. I was not impressed. Food came out luke warm at best, the appetizers were not done well, the salads were made of mostly iceberg lettuce Just overall not a place for any decent food. Great screens for games though.

French Fries are BIO-Diesel Quality. We had a great meal when the BB catered the Wolfpack Club meal. Decided to then try it. Went over to Tom O'Brien's Coach Show, three times....probably NOT again. Portions are great. Hamburgers are very good. Club Sandwich was great. BUT, the FRIES are GREASY...as were the Onion Rings. We ate a local Mexican restaurant tonight with our GS. He got fries and they were light and NOT greasy. My wife commented that a great Burger and Ribs place like the BB should go to Fiesta Mexicana to see how THEY do the fries. Had indigestion every time. Wait staff was great...beer was cold and we got good value, but you can't avoid the GREASE. Maybe they need Willie Nelson to help them get rid of the GREASE....since he is a Bio-Diesel freak. We often attend Sidney Lowe's show.....hope that he does NOT relocate there.

specials. I love the specials you guys have added this September. So far I have tried the tuna salad and the Zuppe de Peche. Both were great. I love my sea food so hopefully I will make it back to try the oysters. I think I have found my new lunch spot. My server had brown hair in a ponytail and she was very sweet and timely as well. Had her both times.
