VERY DISAPPOINTING, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Made a reservation in advance to watch a college game on the main TV with sound. Spoke to the manager, Andrea, and she said I was the first to call, so the main TV was ours for a group of 15 or so. I arrived early, and she said everything was fine. There were 5 other people there who wanted to see another game, but since I reserved the main TV first, my group was promised the main TV. Five minutes before kickoff and Andrea states "I am going back on my word. I am showing the other game for the other 5 people." ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. We all got up and left, and went somewhere else (Falls River Pub) and had a great time. These kind of decisions put a place out of business as word will get around about crappy management and employee's like Andrea. The funny thing is that I was considering using this place for monthly Wed night meetings for a group of 30 or more. NOT ANY MORE ANDREA!!!!
Andrea is not a manager she is a part time daytime bartender. And being a small LOCAL neighborhood bar we cater to large number of very regular customers and while we always love having new faces in the bar we cant please everyone with the sound of the game. We have 12 tvs and one sound system. The local games were on and it should be very well understood that ofcourse were going to have the sound for those..if there was a day when no one in here was watching them we would be more than pleased to cater to anyone watching whichever game. The people wanting to hear the local game were more number wise than those who didnt. We never like to disapoint anyone but unfortunally things happen sometimes we apologize for the inconvience to the group that couldnt listen to the game of thier choice that day.
Great Food! Service was great.. Went to The Pickled Onion for the first time this weekend with some freinds. We had a going away party for one of my girlfriends. The owner and staff treated us all like VIP's. This was a last minute get together and it was great. The band that played sounded great. Played music we all knew and loved. We all had so much fun. My husband and I are going again this Saturday with more friends. You should too. Don't miss this place!!
Very Bad 1st Impression!.
Met with some friends there after closing the voting polls. Live music was WAY too loud - we sat on the other side of the room and still could not have a coversation without shouting.
Ordered a BYO Burger platter about 8:30 pm, at 9:00 pm I asked where my order was,and at first was told STILL being cookedt! What??? what do you mean! Only after I told the waitress, that waiting over 20 minutes for a burger was not acceptable, and I wanted to cancel the order. I was told it took 30 minutes long "because I ordered it medium well". I cancelled the order and just drank a beer with my friends, only to be told then after cancelling, that suddenly my "order would be ready in 2 minutes". Oh? And how did we get it going so fast? Must have been bc I cancelled the order.
2 other people's orders were also wrong when they first came out (ever had beef nacho's with NO beef?). The place was not even 35% full, so that was not the problem either.
Forget the food here, just order a drink. Go to Champps, Leesville TapRoom, instead. They get your a burger platter, fresh made, to you in about 10 minutes on a busy night - they don't have to go kill the cow first!
Glad I found it !!.
I had heard mixed reviews from my friends so we got a coupon we went for dinner during the week and really enjoyed the food, the soups are from scratch and you can tell the food has that special made from scratch feel.
I loved our waitress she helped us through the beer list so many new beers i had never tried !! We will be back soon, they have a great tues open mic night on that huge patio.
mixed feelings. The food and most of the staff is good. How every the Karaoke DJ on Friday's is very insulting and rude to the singers. It's hard enough to put yourself out there. I will not go back on a Friday. I'll find somewhere else.
What a blast!. Went there for open mic night. What a blast. The music was great. The food was wonderful and all of the staff were on top of it. This place is fun. I will be back..
Ladies!! Stay Away!!. The owner of this bar creeps inappropriately on every girl that comes in. It doesn't matter if you come with a date, he will creep on you when your bf vacates for whatever. The owner is a drunk disaster. The bar has great potential with a great location and bar staff. Unfortunately, the owner, "Greg" makes it impossible to enjoy. Please seek less drama and better options.
Patio Was Lovely.
We went for dinner and sat on the patio for open mic night..they have it every tuesday. We had an amazing time.
The staff was very attentive and down to earth. We enjoyed the chefs features and some great appetizers.
I was impressed with thier beer selection for such a quaint place.
We will most certainly be going back very soon !!
I would skip this one.
Went with friends, all 7 of us ordered something different.
None of our meals were very good. Burgers tasted like the gas grill and not the flavor of beef. Chicken was dry, ribs were cut in a strange fashion, and included many little 1" bones throughout.
Food very disappointing. On the upside the beer was cold.
Great Chicken Marinara. For a place that looks like nothing more than a corner bar, the food here is great.
